It's not as difficult as you may think.
First you gotta download the file and unzip it and once you decompress it you "cd" into the new TeamSpeak3-Client-xxxxx directory. Then look for ts3client_runscript.sh file and make it an executable by doing...
Then you can run the script by doing...Code:sudo chmod +x ts3client_runscript.sh
ORCode:./ts3client_runscript.sh
Code:sh ts3client_runscript.sh

I got that far but when I launch the clinet everything is kosher. I can even Connect to the TS3 public server.
However if I try to open any windows the client will freeze, running the client out of a terminal window gives me a number of errors...
Anyone else see this or know how to fix this problem?Code:(process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2710: You forgot to call g_type_init() (process:2662): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2710: You forgot to call g_type_init() (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2710: You forgot to call g_type_init() (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2710: You forgot to call g_type_init() (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_add_interface_static: assertion `G_TYPE_IS_INSTANTIATABLE (instance_type)' failed (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2710: You forgot to call g_type_init() (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_interface_add_prerequisite: assertion `G_TYPE_IS_INTERFACE (interface_type)' failed (process:2662): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (process:2662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_add_interface_static: assertion `G_TYPE_IS_INSTANTIATABLE (instance_type)' failed (process:2662): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_style_get: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

Hi, I've followed the steps on this page so far but now faced with this on my terminal after trying to run script:
./ts3client_linux_x86: error while loading shared libraries: libfmodez.so: cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires: Permission denied
libfmodez.so is present in the TS directory. Keeping in mind I'm pretty new linux in general, does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Installing teamspeak 3 on Fedora 14
Greetings all. I am looking into installing Teamspeak 3 client on Fedora 14. Where should I start? Is there a repo for it?
I don't know what my first step should be. I recall trying to install it a few months ago, but I did not have any luck. This is a fresh install of Fedora, meant for "playing around on" and getting some experience with different applications. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
