How-To: Install TeamSpeak 3 as a Windows Service?
Is there a way to get the server to auto start via Windows services?
Basically I want to have the server start up right when the computer starts up, and I don't want to have to login for the server to restart it.
Just want it done automatically when the computer starts up.
I googled an answer and found they had something for Teamspeak 2, but not able to find anything for TS3
Information:
Windows 7 (32bit)
teamspeak3-server_win32-3.0.0-beta30

You could also run it using Scheduled Tasks in Windows, this would start the server on boot without having to login. However, it wouldn't offer any of the features such as automatic restart after a server crash. I've been running it fine using that method on my windows dedicated, never had a ts3 server crash.

It's quite simple really.
No need for any 3rd party software.
Right click on the server exe
send to
desktop(create shortcut)
goto your desktop
right click on the shortcut
cut
click start
all programs
open/expand startup
right click and paste
Now the TS3 server will start everytime your pc does

This only work if you open a windows session.
If you have an server (like whs2011 or ws2008) the app will never be launched.

our group leases a dedicated server box. on this box we have a 3rd party software.
TCADMIN
webpage interface to controls all our game servers, TS3 and TSDNS.
if server box gets restarted for any reason all game servers, TS3 and TSDNS auto starts
there is a monthly fee they charge, but for our group its well worth it.
check it out here...

note: we have no affilation with TCADMIN, we just use the software.

For an automatic launch with an windows server i prefer this method :
1) Create an text file named Teamspeak.cmd
In the text file insert:
cd\Teamspeak
ts3-server_win64.exe
(change folder, or exe file)
2) Launch Server Manager \ Configuration \ Task Scheduler
Create a new task
Choose launch at windows startup and “Launch without any user open a session”
(My windows isn’t in English so I don’t have the real options names)
PS: This method is not perfect, I don’t have any icon in the lanch task.

How-To: Install TeamSpeak 3 as a Windows Service?
Hi. I run a handful of servers, and I've been in luck as far as running items in service mode. I have attempted to run the ts3server_win64.exe file in service mode, but it provides an error when attempting to Start the service. I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64-bit edition. Any ideas?
Code:Windows could not start the TeamSpeak Dedicated Service service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Thx for this Info i will try it at home! But can anyone tell me why it doesn't work with the SC Command from Microsoft! The creation of the service ends succsessfully. But when i try to start it the Error message 1053 will come up instantly. I also read about an inifile to start the ts server. Does anyone know the start states which can be used in the ini file?
Hope that someone had any ideas
Thx for help!
