    Unhappy Connection Problem

    Hi there!

I have multiple Virtual Servers with ts3 on the net, most run without problems.

    Now I've got a weird problem: On srv7.kah.ch I just can't connect!
Server Query works without a problem from anywhere, nmap shows UDP Port 9988 as open.
I've even setup the TSDNS server, but still can't connect.

A friend of mine also couldn't connect.

From my technical sight everything should be allright - other servers setup exactly the same do also work. everything else on the server also works without problems (ssh, http, serverquery, tsdns).

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,
    Marcel

Yeah... open that port 9988... there might be a firewall or something else.

    My nmap reports...:
    HOST020:~/work # nmap -sU -p U:9988 srv7.kah.ch
    Starting Nmap 5.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2011-06-19 15:05 CEST
    Interesting ports on 178-162-243-36.local (178.162.243.36):
    PORT STATE SERVICE
    9988/udp open|filtered unknown
Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.90 seconds

yes, you'll get the same result of nmap on other servers, so i think the port is open? I don't even believe this virtual server has a hardware firewall in front... and iptables is all open.

Does really no one have an idea?

The server is running Debian 6 32bit, running at a VPS provider directly on the net in France.
There is no Firewall set up.

Another Server setup exactly the same running at the same Provider but in Germany works well.

Please help, i just can't get any further :/

Is this maybe a TS3 bug?
I'd even provide server details if you can help!
