You need to make sure that the icons are 16x16, if they are is there any error message ?

which by default is TCP 30033 which needs to be open on the server side, also your PC needs free Ports to establish a connection.

People can connect to my server, but it just wont let me change icons. DO i need to change the connecting port?

Read the last two posts. File transfer and voice ports are different. Both need to be open.

Hello everybody ... I am server admin on a server and I have all the privileges on the server, however I can't upload some icons that I downloaded from the addons. There is no any error message when I am trying to upload ... but some error messages appear when I am joining this server.

The errors are like this one:

"The icon for channel ********** was not found."

I don't know if this would be the right thread to stick this under, but being that it's icon related I figured it might help some here.
I'm currently developing a server-side query bot, and in the process I've discovered a few things.

When you/I issue the query commands;

servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permsid=i_icon_id permvalue=0123456789 permskip=1 permnegated=0

Or maybe,

clientaddperm cldbid=2 permsid=i_icon_id permvalue=9876543210 permskip=1 permnegated=0

For example.

They sometimes work with 10 digits. From my experience though, most 10 digit checksum name conversions won't get selected through TS3's query commands.

So I've now started the habit of trimming each icon once uploaded to my TS3 servers (I use root so I can u/l d/l without getting choked on port 30033, that's my next question..) down to 9 digits in length each. So for example, 'icon_012345678'.

I've created over 500 icons thus far and I've had to do this with each 10 digit checksum to make sure I can re-up them from my program directly without this conversion issue I've unfortunately noticed.

Now the file transfer limit. Since I'll be including over 500 icons or so in my bot release I've been practicing a lot with icons dynamically loading on the fly. Actually even through TeamSpeak3's client interface I get choked out trying to view all the icons now in there, see above.

Port 30033 obviously has a file transfer limit. Is there a file transfer limit setting we can adjust?

'connection_filetransfer_limit' Or something similar?

I'm guessing 'virtualserver_antiflood_points_needed_ip_block',
& 'virtualserver_antiflood_points_needed_command_blo ck' aren't related to the filetransfer port.

Hello there, not sure if any of you have encountered such problem, though since the last few days I've noticed quite annoying bug with showing TS icons and people's avatars.

Here I have a screenshot of the issue:

Actually I see noone (except admin gif) and as you see I'm getting such reports in TS log everytime I log on. Reinstall didn't helped, nor various updating/downgrading to the different versions of the program. If you have any solution for it, I'd be grateful. Thanks from above!

This is probably to do with the server, the error reports indicate that the icons for the server groups cannot be found.

Thing is, that the other users see them normally and don't report such issue, hence I guess server itself is alright.

They see the icons trough their cache, thats the difference.
Please tell the hoster to reupload all his icons.

The red error messages say all you need to know. The icons do not exist on that server.

Alright so I log into Teamspeak on my old operating system (Windows 7) and all the tags show up perfectly. alot of things went wrong with one of my games and I re-installed windows 7 with 3.0.8 version of Teamspeak. So I wait around a day or two installing windows. Once it was finally done, I install Teamspeak with 3.0.8.1. I go into my regular gaming server and notice that all of the users on there dont have the tag (for the server i go on its a COP tag). I re-install Teamspeak, the members on there give me my other tags, but that one tag (or some tags) do not show up at all, All i see is a Blank Image something like.. "[ ] SFPD", and another one that looks like this... %%CLIENT_SERVER_GROUP_ICON%% LSPD. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue?

EDIT: Also when i log in, this is what it says in the main chat: <10:34:08> The icon for server group "LSPD (80)" was not found.

"<10:34:08> The icon for server group "LSPD (80)" was not found." is your answer. It shows that the icon for the server group is not on the server. Others could possibly view the icons from their cache.
