Clear chat
Admins will have the option to clear the chat in a channel (In case of advertisers and/or spammers, they can clear their messages.)

I've been lucky enough to keep my server private and haven't been spammed, but I can only imagine some spammer with a wall of links in chat would be annoying.
I'm pretty sure a plugin or LUA script may be able to accomplish something to this effect where you type a simple command in the chat box and it sends several empty lines to "purge" the chatbox.

The chat should stay an client option and i agree, that plugin should be used instad
