Dante,Dante...As I said before, you're Behaving rude with us. It would be so easy to tell us you get Somes little problem with the app and you're working on it... Seem to be a few smart don't you think? Better than a :" It's done when It's done!"

Mate, the key issue is that we intend to release all versions at the same time... We're well aware that we're a bit behind schedule with the final release and we know that all of you are very excited to finally get the final/stable release of TS3 into your virtual hands.
Here are some facts:
- The regular client and server builds (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD) are under continuous development, but ready for a stable release on all platforms.
- The iOS client has been approved by Apple and is waiting for us to publish it. It made a few "early visits" to the AppStore in the last two days, but we're delaying the official release until everything else is settled. It will be available for ~4 bucks as some people already spoilered... and it's worth every single penny.
- The Android client is currently in QA testing by our entire team. Unfortunately, the initial release of this client is not as feature rich as its other mobile sibling (that's why we'll still call it a "beta"), but it provides all the features you need to communicate with others. Before you ask... I don't know any pricing details for the Android client.
- We've improved several parts of our website to be prepared for the stable release.
Please be patient! We just want to push anything live until we're sure we can deliver the quality you're expecting from us...

Stay tuned to the news section of our website! You'll find everything you need to know right threre.Last edited by ScP; 09-08-2011 at 18:36.

Thanks for the answer that's a bit smarter as I said before, we'll wait. And I wouldn't mind to pay 4$ for the app.

Hey there!
Good job on TeamSpeak 3 btw =) It's awesome and an incredible difference to TS2.
Just want to leave my 2 cents here as well. Done a great job on the app as well. Everyone has been waiting long for the release and now it's almost due!
Some people already snapped it via the App Store and uploaded some videos on Youtube. It's looking great. And the 4$ will be well worth it, even if the client version is still free.
I've got a question about the functionality and I hope you can answer my question. (I probably know the answer already, but I hope asking doesn't hurt).
Can we use the Apple Headset for Push-to-talk? Or does that only works with pushing the on-screen button? I dunno if the functions for the headset are mandatory for telephoning thus not working with the TS3 App. Would be cool though, if it would be "technically" possible to add that feature in.
And I'm sorry if this "TS3 App" Topic is stressing you guys hard, but we all are eager to actually try this out!
Thanks for the upcoming response, incase there won't be one, don't worry =P.
Best Regards
Bethor

I am a bit disappointed to read that the iPhone app seems to be more feature rich than the Android, especially since Android can do the same stuff than iOs. To me it sounds more like its not been bothered as much to benefit more the, often calls themselves as the better mobile solution, and belittle Android users.
Not having as much features also definately doesnt make the Android app worth the same price, because that would be unfair to the Android users.

Don't worry, you just need to be patient. The features will be implemented in future releases. You can wait another few months if you want the full features on Android, instead of getting the intitial release with the min. required functions.
As for pricings. As long it's getting supported for a long time and be on par with the iOS Version, it would be ok to pay the same price. Initial Release doesn't mean the functions won't be implemented in the future. :O

Why should i pay the same for something that has less, assuming that might change some day. I dont know about Apple users, they often seem to have to much money anyways, but normally you pay the full price only for equal products. The fact that you say months even for a more complete version for android clearly shows less priority for the it seems less prestige OS, giving iOs clearly priorities is very disappointing.
But i guess thats ok for us "lower" Android users, right ?

While I understand your point of view, it might be possible that they'll release a cheap/free "lite" Version for Android for the time being, until the full version is released.
But we don't know that as of now. But I'm pretty sure the Android Users are getting the same functions as the iOS Users. In the end you'll eventually pay the same price anyway.
I like the idea of releasing "Lite" Versions so you can decide if you want the App or not. It's on another page though, if you are mad if there will be a full Version for iOS and only the Lite Version for Android until the Full Version is released.
We will get the right Version no matter what though. Just need some patience.
Maybe they'll grab up the idea with the "Lite" Versions. Would be a good way to satisfy both user's I guess. =)
