    [Suggestion] Android Bluetooth Support

I'd just like suggest adding Bluetooth support to the mobile version of TS3. Every mobile VOIP program I've tried lacks this feature, and if you could provide this, I'd buy the final version of TS3 mobile in a sec..

Check out BTMono or similar apps on android market, with which you can use most bluetooth headsets for any VOIP application, including TS3.

I can use my bluetooth headset with the app no problem.

Well...with a little problem. The device needs to be connected prior to launching the app and connecting to a server. It does not work if you are already connected to a TS server.

This BTmono only lets me hear people on TS3, I still cant reply with the BT mic? . . . . ..any suggestions . . . .Samsung GalaxyS froyo2.2

The volume in the TS3 Android app is almost useless. . . . I'm maxed out on the volume and need to turn the phone around and put the speaker near my ear to hear . . .I would love to figure out how to use this with full BT capability's . . .
    Thanx

I just downloaded the BETA from the Android Market and I am unable to get the mic to work using my Bluetooth headset. Is there a workaround for this? Are you guys looking into resolving this?

I just got this to work with input and output on my Motorola Droid 3.

    * Already had TS3 for Droid installed and configured

    1) Installed BTMono (free version) from the Market
    2) Launched BT Mono and turned BT Mono ON.
    3) Launched TS3 and joined my server
    4) Used TS3 PTT button and gave it a test
    5) Buddies confirmed they heard me through a headset (not speaker phone), and their voices came in over BT headset.

SUGGESTION: Wish there was some way to disable the PTT button on the mobile device. By law, I'm required to be hands free when using a mobile device in my vehicle. The PTT puts me in direct conflict with that. Wonder if there's a good way to have the BT somehow enable the PTT command on TS?

Tried the andoid app on my galaxy s2, and my bluetooth headset is a playstation original, works great on my phone with both normal calls and skype. But not in teamspeak. Will this be fixed soon or not at all?

Just saw that there was a android section so this should be moved

My posts were indeed moved, but to the wrong section, it should be under android and not ios

    Question Bluetooth Sound

    Hello,

I'm using the TeamSpeak3 app on my HTC Desire HD Android phone, and it's nearly running perfectly! But I'm just wondering one special thing:

Why does the outgoing sound not being transmittet through out a bluetooth speaker, if connected? Because I'm using a bluetooth headset and the microphone is working perfectly, but I can't hear my mates on TeamSpeak...

Hope someone can help me out of this

Android Client is pending a complete rewrite, so it might resolve itself once that is done. Till then there won't be anything happening about this or any other Problem with the Android CLient.
