    It's strange because first the client contacts the server and then the server asks for the password. I've tried from my PC in Vista and I can't contact with this server.

    If the server is running, then maybe there is other filter that "blocks" the access, by a range of IP or something like that.

    It seems that the problem with the iPhone is due that it can't contact with the server, the same with my client in windows. I don't know why.

    have you tried to connect at the same time from your PC and from your iphone?

    My POV

    I get that error when i try to connect to the TS server that's hosted on my other PC via WiFi on the router that's connected
    to that same PC. My phone and pc with TS server share public IP. But when i try to connect via any other WiFi or 3g network,
    i connect without any problems. Connecting to other servers goes without any problems via WiFi or 3g on any network/router.

    My router is well configured if you think that's the problem.

    Hello.

    @twinky: in your case, when you get the error, try to connect to your server indicating its local IP (192.168.x.y) instead of the shared public one.

    Yeah, i have the exact issue, but mine is a tad different, My iphone connects to servers with ports and an address, but doesn't connect to servers with just an address, these ones:

    Can't connect to this: 83.169.9.23
    But can connect to this: ts3.shootusinstead.com.au:9992

    How can i fix this? ( im using the same internet for both (wifi) )

    I've tried connect to 83.169.etc.etc and the server requires an indentity with secure level=9. Please, verify that the identity you are using to connect has security level 9 or higher.

    Just for discard, or verify, the theory of the address and the name, please, try to connect to the public server, using the Ip and the name:
    by name --> voice.teamspeak.com
    by IP --> 194.97.114.2

    Greetings.

    Note: if case of port was really neccessary...
    by name --> voice.teamspeak.com:9987

    Um yeah, my identity level is 8 on the iphone, how do i get it up to 9?

    Yeah, My Iphone's level is at level 8, not 9, how can i improve my level?

    And yes i can connect to the teamspeak public server with my Iphone

    Hello.

    In Iphone I don't know how, (i had no Iphone).

    In a normal (not mobile) ts3 client is:
    Settings --> Identities --> Choose the identity and button 'Improve'

    The recommendation with identities in mobile devices is export from the PC and import into the mobile device. Then, if you have the identity transferred to the mobile, first improve it in the PC, verify you can connect and then transfer the identity to the Iphone.

    How do i do the export and import process?, it is an application on the phone, pretty sure all i can do is move that app from the computer to iPhone, don't think i can edit the internals of a app. if that is what you mean?

    Hello.

    If you ask how do you export the identity this means you are working directly with the identity in the Iphone. Sorry, I have no Iphone then I don't know if the Iphone application allows to improve the level. Maybe other user can help you in this.

    Hey, i have successfully transferred a level 13 identity to my phone and made it the default with the link you provided me, but when i try to connect to the same server, it comes up with the exact same error. and i have restarted my iPhone, so i am really stuck here.

    i have deleted every identity on my phone and made it only the level 13 one there available, also re-bookmarked the server to try to refresh something, still same error.

    Any suggestions?

    It doesn't work

    Hi everybody,
    I've buyed TS for iphone just today. If i try to join a server in WLAN (my clan or another it's the same) I get the error 0x705.
    I think the problem in WLAN is the firewall. With 3G no problems!

    iPhone 4S on the latest version of the app and the OS.

    Server: 188.40.178.74:1338

    I initially connected fine, and spent about 3 minutes having an echo fight with myself (I was also logged in on my desktop).

    Suddenly my desktop said "User has timed out." (it happened when I plugged in my headphones, but I'm assuming coincidental).

    I have been since unable to reconnect to that server.

    Problem with the new TS update on iPhone 4s

    My problem is that i have to restar my iPhone all the time to get access to my TS server, why? "Error connecting to server [0x705]"
