Arm6 Incompatibility
Is there going to be any attempt in making TS3 compatible with ARM6 cpu users for the Android? As far as I know a lot of the market still uses this architecture.

There are hardware requirements for the mobile devices which cannot just be resolved by "making it work" with earlier OS versions.

The older ones does not support ARMv7, just ARMv6 or smaller. So this can't work.

Hello,
Is there any way to run Teamspeak on Android with ARMv6 processor instead of ARMv7 processor?
Thanks!

I understand the OS requirement. That's just like any other software, but as mention by others, if Skype can make what's seems to be a more demanding application work with what is slightly older technology, then so can Teamspeak. I blame the dev's for not optimizing it enough, making it compatible, and leaving users looking elsewhere.

Skype requires Android 2.1 operating system and above. I don't see them reaching out to 1.5. Netflix requires 2.3.... Also, mojave, this is a beta version for android.. meaning it's not complete. The android OS is quite a bit different and to an extent, very difficult, to make every phone happy. I understand people may be upset but again, I refer to "BETA".

With no comment "officially", all users on ARM6 must assume they are left out. At least a heads up that they are trying to get something together would be the right way to go, if it's true.

This is sorta odd.. i guess we wont be able to do anything but beeing forced to go over to MUMBLE that FULLY supports ARMv6
and has also CHAT support in the app. i dont understand why can everyone else do working apps but the teamspeak devs.
btw as far as i understand, mumble is the biggest rival to teamspeak now.. and completely free.

Everyone? Really? Have you tried the latest Firefox? Netflix? Just like with computers as newer hardware is made software will be made that requires that. ARMv6 lacks requirements to handle the core classes of TS3. If I heard right it is FPU. I don't know the design of the other VoIP app you mention but with TS you must be able to decode multiple streams
