How to make the server half public
Hi,
currently out channels have join power set to 10 so that no guest can join out rooms besides the entrance.
we have a group called members that are able to join all rooms through join power +10
is there a better/easier way to have some open but most rooms closed until the person gets join rights?
the problem with this solution is that you have to set join power to 10 for every new room you create.

Hello
Set for the Guest (or default) server group :
i_channel_join_power = -1
For public channel
Right click > Edit channel > Permissions tab > Join = -1
and for other channel and members group the join power is useless.
Now the guests can only join the public channel (channel with join power to -1)
And the members can join all channelsLast edited by florian_fr40; 14-08-2011 at 16:19.
