Speakers/Headphones Disabled
Hello,
When I connect to a Teamspeak Server, An error message appears : "The configured playback device was not found. Instead using: SB X-Fi Audio [0001] Press OK to apply the changes or press Setup to change the configuration manually. "... I also try to change the playback device into SB X-FI Audio [0001] but It doesn't work. The real problem here is that my sound is off and doesn't work only on a teamspeak server. People can hear me but I can't hear them.

- Your operation system
- Your sound settings for your playback device under Settings > Options and what settings have you tried?

I have this exact same problem
The configured playback device was not found.
Instead using: Speakers (Creative SB Audigy 2 (WDM))
The configured capture device was not found.
Instead using: Microphone (Creative SB Audigy 2 (WDM))
Press OK to apply the changes or press Setup to change the configuration manually.
As soon as that happens, my mic no longer works, even though all settings are as they should be.
mic playback at zero, recording full, etc, and nothing gets it to work at all, just prior to that I ha restarted TS3 because a friend in channel said I had started to stutter soundwise, so I restarted and then I get that info message.
Using win 7 home, teamspeak version 3.0.0, (current version available) drivers are the latest from creative,

05/09/2011 13:41:02 Direct Sound Error ERROR (-215): Paramtre incorrect.
I'm wondering, what that parameter could be. Maybe any 3D setting or crystalizer?
Please try to find an update for your soundcard or try to reinstall the driver version.
Or is there another soundcard, that you can select under Settings > Options > Playback---------------------------------------------------------

Jadibanez, to what language is your windows set? English?
Also, could you please open your config file in notepad or some other editor and copy & past the [profiles] section (or at least everyting that starts with Playback or Capture. So for example :
Capture\Default\Device={0.0.1.00000000}.{21af0970-956c-48a5-9d97-d5046ae4da54}
(and many more lines).
You can find your config file by doing start->run, enter %appdata% and hit ok.
now open subdir "ts3client". The config file is "ts3clientui_qt.conf"

One more question: What kind of speaker setup do you have? just 2(stereo) or surround?

I have a possible fix for you. Attached to this post is a new directsound backend. Please replace the old directsound_win32.dll file located in your teamspeak3 installdir under soundbackends (so for me: c:\program files\teamspeak 3 client\soundbackends) with the one i attached here and give it a go.
Please do answer the questions i asked previously, to help me understand what is going on
