Fails to connect, Blacklist check timeout.
Hi!
having a problem when trying to connect to any server. If i pass a server name, the conversion to an IP works fine, but then after a short while i get "cantīt connect to server"
looking up the client protocol i see that for every attempt to connect there is an entry that says "Blacklist check timeout"
i have found like two other persons who are having that same issue in some forums, but there was no solution posted until recent.
any thoughts? nobody else has this problem? what is it with the blacklist anyway, does anybody have more info on that?

Ok..this just shows how much of a TS noob I am. I'm used to vent. What I want is 100% admin status on my server. I used the search - and they all lead to using a password. I don't have a password, I used a token to gain admin rights on my server. Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnected while using TS3 (Crash TS + Crash ADSL Line)
First of all I try to explain the problem.
I've installed TS3 on my pc some days ago and every time I go in a room with more than one (or few) people my TS crashes. But not only TS, entire ADSL line too! It seems to be connected but I can't have access to any site, so I must restart my router.
The crash takes place after 10 sec - until 5 minutes (I think) randomly after I enter in one room with 10+ people (as I usually do).
And, as I said before, I tried to talk with one/two people in a room for 20 minutes and nothing happens.
Here the datas, and pls try to help me T_T:
TeamSpeak version including build number: 3.0.0-beta13 [Build: 10118] 32 bit
Operating System including Service Packs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (I though 64 bit, but 64bit TS3 version didn't work, so it should be 32.. maybe) + 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Soundcard & Driver version: Realtek High Definition Audio + Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Drivers
DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c
Error message: there's no errors, simply I loose the connection.
How often does the error appear: Explained before.
What did you try to fix the problem?: I tried to reinstall the client, and I don't think that is an ADSL problem, because only with TS3 my adsl line crashes too.
Thanks in advance.

I can report same problem here
Windows 7 64-bit (up-to-date)
Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway WAG160N
Firmware-Version:V1.00.15
Router Logfile shows DoS Attack entry on the TS Server IP&port.
After 10-20 reports Router causes therefore disconnect.

Can't connect to any server
Hello all,
I am not able to make any connections out. Somehow strange seems that my software firewall does not ask me to allow or deny a TS3 connection when the program starts an attempt to connect. After a few seconds I just get the error message "Failed to connect to server". The log looks like this:
<09:59:08> Trying to resolve hostname voice.teamspeak.com
<09:59:08> Trying to connect to server on voice.teamspeak.com:9987
<09:59:14> Failed to connect to server
This happens with every TS servr IP I tried so far. Switched software and hardware firewalls on and off... no change.
Must I forward any ports on my router? If yes, which ones? Could not find any info on that.
I'd be glad to get some hints from you.
Cheers
Dennis
UPDATE: As I see, TS3 does not seem to cause any network traffic. My software firewall shows no activity when trying to connect at all...!
I downloaded TS2_RC2 and it works flawlessly. So something about my configuration with TS3 and Win7 could be fishy ... any ideas?
TS2_RC2 also correctly installs web browser support for directly clicking on a TS address link, which the TS3 did not at all.Last edited by 2flame; 16-02-2010 at 09:43.
