Teamspeak2 -> Linux
Hello, I've been trying to run TeamSpeak2, I'm on TS2 because a friend won't upgrade to TS3, and I run my client on Linux, and I cannot seem to get it to mix channels with other software, I've only had luck with getting it to mix with OSS(Open Sound System), but OSS is pretty dated.. Trying to avoid OSS, so, I can try to stay up-to-date, I just have a basic 2 speaker desktop set, I plan on upgrading to a 7.1 Surround Sound System, and OSS, as far as I can tell doesn't support it. Anybody else have this issue, and managed to get it to mix? I even tried the alsa-oss plugin, still same results, if I load TS2 first, it works fine, but don't have sounds in any other apps, it acts as if it doesn't want to share channels with other apps using Alsa(Advanced Linux Sound Architecture). Thanks for the tips/help, =).
Currently I'm running OpenSUSE, I have been running Arch Linux, switched to OpenSUSE to see if it wasn't something in Arch's Configuration, but same results, no sounds when I have Pidgin IM, Amarok, and youtube sounds going. So it's not just Arch Linux, it appears it's all Linux Distros that's having these issues.
