I am stupid, please help?
Now that the heading has established that I am thoroughly stupid, I need help. Just think of me as old (which I am) and senile. How do I use Teamspeak?
I tried to test it, speaking into my mike, but got no response, from anyone who was online with me. Does that mean they were:
(1.) Ignoring me?
(2.) I need a set of headphones, or
(3.) I am having some sort of technical problem?
Secondly, as of this date and time I will only be using Teamspeack in conjunctiond with "America's Army" Servers, AAOHQ, and my clan members.
Again, will someone please steer me in the right direction. Remember, we were all noobs once. Thank you ever so much, in advance.

oh great. Is this now the new way of receiving help by self predicting as stupid ??
I suggest deleting post from such person as TS and PC's in general can never be used by stupid people !
To your question:
could be 1 or 3. You do not need headphones (you can use speakers).
As you describe yourself as a stupid person, I highly guess the others are ignoring you as everyone else would do the same.
Should I be at fault, then you could test your sound settings by opening TS and activating the local loopback mode or you test with the win wave recorder.
You can use TS with "all" programms (make sure that you deactivate the ingame voice tool if your programm has such one (e.g. HL,...)

*haha*
sorry, but guldi is mean
I guess that your recording device was not your microphone... open your mixer (windows or whatever you'd like to use) and enable recording from your microphone!

mean ???
I call this self-humiliation. I hope this is not going to be the new way of asking a question the smart way !!!
anyway, what SatanClaus proposes will be the way you have to make your TS work proper.

PS: stupid question (or way of asking a question) => stupid answer
PPS: SatanClaus, I hope you're not going to kill me caus I'm using a copy of your signature. Mine was so bad... I had to take a side glance at a good example
