Clients not seeing Custom Server Group Icons.
I've upload all the icons & set them to each of the Server groups. They're just not showing for other Clients.
I've searched the Forums for a solution to my problem majority of the threads I've found respond to a Home TS server. The replies for them are about opening a port, does my GSP have to do this as well?

Hello.
Are you the only one user that can see the server icons in your client?
What about avatars?. Can you and your users "Set Avatar" and see your avatars?
Greetings.

Could it be that the server is hosted on your network or own computer?
And are you sure that port 30033 is opened for TCP traffic? > Let someone try to upload a file into a channel or to set an avatar.---------------------------------------------------------
Please don't send me private support questions.
They belong into the forum and maybe other users have these questions/problems too.

The TS server is on a dedi box hosted by Killercreations.

This is only the half answer to my questions
I dont understand how opening my ports would make a difference, I can see all the uploaded files on the TS ftp listed under icons.
As for letting others upload a file ill have to wait until later, when there is another around.

Others have been able to upload avatars fine, and we can all view them.

Hello,
I've assigned one of your icons in my server and it works.
Well, for me, end of the road. I'm lost.
a) Server port for icons it's the same for avatars, then port is open in server side.
b) Icons are correct.
But...
You say "upload all the icons & set them to each of the Server groups" and "I uploaded the icon via remote so I hope that is the right place". In the zip file, icons have names as "group_xxx.png". In 3.0.0 servers, icons can have any name and are assigned from the permissions dialog ---> Then there's no doubt about if they are on the right place.
Please, (sorry if questions seem obvious),
version of your TS3 server?
are you using the permissions interface for assigning icons to the server groups?
Greetings.

Version 3.0.2
Yes, using the Permissions interface for assigning the icons.
I wonder if I should give the TS server a restart and see if it would make a difference?

Hello.
I would try "Clear cache" in one of the users.
Better a total clearing.
1) Be sure that in "Bookmarks" --> "Manage Bookmarks" --> all "Connect on Startup" are deactivated
2) Close the client TS3
3) Start the client TS3 (then it will indicate "No server" in the server tab) <-- IMPORTANT: No server connected
4) Settings --> Options --> Security --> button "Clear cache" --> check at least 'Clear cache' --> Ok
5) Verify that the files are cleared, asking again for "Clear cache" --> now the section 'Clear cache' must indicate '0files 0bytes'
6) Close 'Options' window
7) Try to connect to the server and... what about server group icons?
Greetings.
