Packet Loss *plz Help* Noobie
Hello!
I am having problems with my packet loss on TS. I have contacted Time Warner for a week now and they have tired eveything. They made me go into command and type in all kinds of stuff and have pinged my pc. Im having alot of time outs in between service. My online game is laggin bad, one minute im half way through the board the next im back at the staring point and so on. My packet loss ranges from 2.34% to the higest i seen yet was was 82.42%. The other people on TS say im very choppy, breaking up, i sound like a machine gun, they can hardly hear me, and others times it okay but silent. I have went through my pc and disable firewalls......nothing seems to work. I have Direct X 9.0 i have deleted cookies, clean files....and nothing i do works...please help me.
Sincerly,
Pink

Thank you. And no i dont think it was a stupid answer. Its a new network card. The hardware is5 months old just bought it, and the modem, well i had roadrunner get into my pc with my ip addy and they tried everything and said its not their service thats causing the packet loss. Im on my brothers TS, and there is usually only three of us at a time on it, they both have 0.00% packet loss, while my just keeps going higher. The modem, well im trying that as well, they are to come out tomorrow and replace it since i think that might be the problem.

dont rely on "new", new stuff can be broken too, right from the day you buy it
