Failed to connect to server
Hello TS forums!
Lately I have been bugged by this annoying problem and it is driving me insane.
I've had my server for about 2-3 weeks now and two days ago I'm not able to connect.
2011-11-22 19:09:55 Info Data sent to blacklist server
2011-11-22 19:09:55 Info Data received from blacklist server: 1,
2011-11-22 19:10:00 ClientUI Info Connect status: Disconnected
This is what happends when I try to connect.
The server ran perfectly fine last week without any problems at all.
I updated the client aswell as the server when it was available but since that it's not working.
I have all ports opened that needs to be opened and I've tried to reinstall it.
I'm also able to connect to other servers, but not my own.
Thankful for answers, regards Sheeba

"Failed to connect to server" issue
I am having an issue where my friends periodically cannot connect to my server. I followed the instructions that are stickied here to forward the 3 major ports, but they never showed as "open" on any of the sites that are supposed to test that (yet the server works fine most of the time). I have a feeling that this might have something to do with it. I know the problem is somewhere on my end, too, because they can connect to other public servers, just not mine. Please help? =(
(As an aside, I have done some searching here and wanted ask, is it true that you must connect to your server with the localhost "addy" rather than the actual "server address" when you're on the server machine itself? Just wondering.)

Make sure that your server is running!
Check the address in your bookmark.
Maybe your hoster stopped it.

Am I The Only Having This Problem?
I'm not sure if this is actually an issue or if I am just a moron, but ever since I got Teamspeak 3, I haven't been able to connect to the one Teamspeak channel I use.
It gives me this message:
<00:17:48>Trying to resolve hostname (name)
<00:17:48>Trying to connect to server on (name)
<00:17:54>Failed to connect to server
Other people who use this channel have been unable to connect as well, so is it a problem with the Teamspeak 3 client? Or like.... has our server not like updated yet (not sure how that works).
Thanks!

Why was my post put in with these others? I feel like I'm never going to get an answer now. =( We are all having separate issues here, how are we all supposed to get help if all of us are smooshed in this same box? This doesn't seem right. I guess it was a mistake to try to get help here. *sigh*

It was no mistake.
Your and otehr post's do not have any informations about the server and it seems that nobody of you have used the search function so far.---------------------------------------------------------
