    All I Want for TS3

I would love it if the icon for the server would change color to like a green or something bright when someone is connected.

It would also be nice to be able to right click on the server icon in the taskbar and be able to se a list of the users who are connected just like you can see "Your Ip's".

Also a request I got from Zero-Point that I like is a send text message from server tray icon to all users currently connected to the server so the admin can say something like "SERVER REBOOTING." or any other server related info.

If this is added I would like a sound to be played when a message such as this is received such as something saying "Server Admin Text Alert Received"

I would also definitely like the client to select the mic for recording when I start the client. (I have another program I use that automatically selects another input when it is used and it gets a little old having to select mic input all the time)

I too would like to see something such as a Chat-Bar. But I would have it a little simpler. I think the chat-bar should be for sending text to the channel that you are currently in by default. I don't think you should change the way it sends text now but only add the chat-bar below the text box to make it simple to send text to the channel you are currently in.

I see nothing bad about having a chat-bar for sending to only the current channel you are connected to. If you have voice on it will only send your voice to that channel. So why not have a chat-bar that will do the same thing.

To make more advanced chatting options more simple you could add a small space to the right or left of the chat-bar that shows where the text will be sent with maybe a button or drop down window with two selections. I think there should be two chat-bar message modes to select from. The first should be to have all text sent to the channel you are currently connected to. The second could be user defined by right clicking on what you want the the text to be sent to and select something like "use chat bar" such as right clicking on a channel and selecting it to send text to only that channel with the chat-bar, or selecting a Player to use the chat bar to only send text to that Player, or select the server name at the top of the list to use the chat bar to send text to All.

I think it would be a bit more confusing for some to have it only send text to what is currently highlighted such as "SatanClaus" mentioned. For most use it would be perfectly fine to have it in the default mode of only sending text to the channel you are currently connected to. And for those who want to use it to send to something else could be able to change the mode from the default to user defined with a button or drop down list to the right or left of the chat-bar.

I think you made this text thing for only simple messaging and I think what I have requested would be a very simple nice addition for all. Nothing more than this would be required because as you said this program is not intended to replace other text messaging programs.

When a text message is sent without using the chat bar I would love for a sound to be played for all that receive it saying something like "Text Message Received", so if there is an important message you want someone to read and you are not able to use your mic for some reason (say your only mic breaks or something, this has happened to me many times, I have a 2 year old son who will put the mic too close to his mouth, or say you are currently recording something with your TV Tuner card, or anything that don't let you transmit sound), and the person or persons who receive the message are not looking at the text box will be able to know you are messaging them without the need of a mic to alert them.
So they know you are trying to message them and you didn't just stop talking or leave.

This sound should not be played if you use the Chat Bar to send the text so the sound is not played too often but only when needed.

I would also like to hear a sound if a player goes into away mode such as a sound saying "Player Away". And if the player transmits anything such as voice or text it should automatically take them out of away mode and play another sound after they have completed transmitting such as a sound saying "Player Returned". It should also play the "Player Returned" sound if the Player manually selects to remove the Away status.

I also wouldn't mind "text to speech" abilities. Such as the ability to say who did what like speak "(Player) connected" and use the players name. And also set key bindings to send customized "text to speech" messages so everyone you send the message to who has "text to speech" enabled will hear it. Could be used for simple in game commands.

May also be interesting to have an option for it to speak everything that is sent in the text box (I would probably not use this speak everything from text box option much, but it may be fun to play with and if you add all the other "text to speech" abilities it would be a simple addition to add to the options, I guess it could be used for people who don't read too well).

I would only have the "text to speech" available if you are using it with an OS that has "text to speech" installed. I think Windows XP comes with "text to speech" installed.
I would like to add other voices to use other than "Microsoft Sam" though.

As I'm using away mode when answering phone calls or talking to other peoples in my room, it would be really bad for me if TeamSpeak sets me back. Note that voice activation would set you back, too.

I would suggest to advance keybinds and have "set away" and "set back" keys in addition to "toggle away". This would allow to bind your "push to talk" key to "set back".

Well this set to back option should not be activated by default. I have not been on here in a long time and have not used teamspeak in a long time because of the lack of abilities. I have used ventrilo since the last time I posted.

Has any of the things I asked for been included yet? I would think they had plenty of time wile I was gone.
