Some people can connect, others can't (Yes, I read the FAQ)

Hey there,
We recently got a new server (yesterday) and transferred our teamspeak server to it.
Everything seemed to run fine, but I noticed, that I couldn't connect.

I know of one other person who is still unable to connect, and quite a few others that had trouble but finally got it to work.
(Playing with the Hostname, adding "www." at the front etc, seemed to work for quite a few)

I tried to connect via telnet on port 10011 and I was politely greeted to the Query access.

Everything else runs fine so far, Apache, MySQL, etc. (We also use MySQL for Teamspeak)

The server only has one external IP address, but I tried setting the Bind IP nonetheless.
The result: The same.

I also ran wireshark while connecting to the server.

Things I noticed:
After senden an initial request to the server, I get two responses.
The client then connects to blacklist.teamspeak.com and probably checks whether the server is blacklisted or not.
Then, the client sends two bigger packets to the server and times out.

In summary: I do get a response at first, but the server then refuses communication.

My client OS is Ubuntu and I am running the latest stable teamspeak version
The OS of the other guy I mentioned is Windows 7.

The OS of the Server is Debian 6 and does not run the latest version of teamspeak.
I doubt this has something to do with the problem, but I tried a fresh install nonetheless.
Didn't work.

So... Any Ideas on how to solve this problem?

Once again: Others had problems connecting as well. Not a nice "customer" support... (we are a non-profit "organization")

Well, I did not mention it, but I think one could guess it...
Well anyways, the server is hosted on a root and is therefore freely accessible from the internet.
There is no Port forwarding going on, all requests on that IP are directly transmitted to the server.

Also, there is no firewall installed, yet.

Ok, Search in Forums > Server > Linux > .... search function "can't+connect"

Uhm... did you even read my post?
Some users can connect, so it can't be a port problem, since that would mean nobody could connect.

If I search for "can't connect", I will get exactly 97 results. How many of those do you think are a case of "nobody is able to connect".

Also, I said "I did search the forum beforehand", which means I already tried general terms and this is probably a not very common problem.
Hence I am not able to solve it myself.

So... I'm sorry, but if you can't add anything productive, please don't post anything.
This will just confuse other users. ("5 replies, must be solved")

If you noticed I am a user who actually has some knowledge, you hadn't told me to read a thread about port-forwarding.

I am sorry for this unfriendly tone, but, you know, you have this once-in-a-lifetime problem and ask for help to get it solved and you get this kind of answer.

I might be overestimating myself, but I am not a novice user.

Okay, so we figured out that the server is not receiving any UDP packets from us.
Apparently there are some routing issues that just happen to happen to few of our users.

We will contact our provider and see if we can get this resolved.
