Question 1 IP with multiple Non-Profit License

    Hi All!

I searched for a while, but I did not find any answer about my problem:
Can I setup my TS3 server with non-profit license on the same server ( same DNS, same IP ), where my friend already deployed his TS3 server with non-profit license?

    Thanks for the answer.

    Hello,

    Basically no, you can't.

Because in this case it's like you put 2 licenses on this machine for you.
The license system can't allow that.

Please send a message to the license service to explain them your situation (sales@teamspeakusa.com)

    Hi!

    Almost, but not deeply.
Here is an answer from TS3 sales:
Thank you for your inquiry. It is not preferred however it is ok to host the licenses on the same server as long as the licenses are not connected to one another (in terms of usage or connected to the same entity) other than the IP being shared.

( I copied the same text to them I wrote here )

    --- Merged ---

So what means "the licenses are not connected to one another (in terms of usage or connected to the same entity)"?
As my friend is not doing the same thing as me ( he has a community, I have MMO community ) and we are not relatives.
But what is 'connected to the same entity'?

I know this answer. But sometime the license is blocked (sometime by error )
So now I prefer warn before

That means your friend haven't to use your license for him. In fact this is here where the license usage is sensible. So again I refer warn.

Can I do a pro-active action to avoid this blocking? Like send a notify mail about the licenses with IP and DNS?
He won't use my license as it will used by me.

Personaly I suggest you to add an IP on this machine for that your server (and so your license) use it.

But I the sales service said it's OK it's ok .
But here we can nothing for you. You have to discuss about this with them.
