[RELEASE]Now Playing Plugin

This is the new thread for the Now Playing plugin that was originally written by 4nt1h4cker. This is original thread if you want to review it.

Download Ver. 0.15.3136
Last updated May 16, 2013

Currently supports:
• Operating Systems: Windows 32 and 64 bit
• API: 19

• Players:
• Winamp
• VLC
• Foobar2000 (You need this plugin)
• MediaMonkey
• Aimp2
• Possibly more which support Winamp IPC API
• Google Music
• Spotify
• Windows Media Player (You need this plugin)

Installation
1. Download!
2. If you have TeamSpeak 3 running, close it.
3. Double click the downloaded ts3_plugin file
4. TeamSpeak Package Installer will launch, follow the prompts until the package installer is done and closes.
5. Start TeamSpeak
6. Have Fun

Configuration
To edit the configuration you need to locate and edit the now_playing_plugin.ini. Under a default install of TeamSpeak3 this configuration file can be found at “%appdata%\TS3Client\now_playing_plugin.ini” after the plug-in has started once. Plug-in will not load new settings until disabled and re-enabled or next time TeamSpeak is loaded.
Configuration file settings:
• Setting (default value) <min-max range> description.
• enable_applitions (1) <0-1> 0 = do nothing, 1 = show your current song behind "Applications" in your info field
• applications ({title}) Format to show in right pane next to Now Playing:
• auto_channel_message (0) <0-1> 0 = do nothing, 1 = every time you change your current song, a new "channel_message" gets written to your current channels
• bound_to_unique_id ()nothing = not used, 28 char unique id = only on servers where this unique id is used is auto_channel_message processed if enabled.
• channel_message (I’m listening to {title}) Message format that is used for channel message when new songs play.
• Refresh_rate_milliseconds (1000) <500-2000> Defines how often in milliseconds to query the media player for current playing song.

This thread will be used for support and to announce any updated releases. Pre-releases are here.

Assuming this is the correct spot to ask for support involving your plugin. I am having issues. Iv been putting off using this plugin for some time. Figured id give it a try now.

I run a music bot using the TS3 plugin. I uses VLC. The hope is to get your plugin to announce when VLC starts to post the name of the song into the channel. As i think it is designed.

Iv followed the howto and edited the config. opened and saved with Notepad++.

Config is as follows:

[config]
channel_message=Boby's Music Bot is now playing {title}.
applications={title}
bound_to_unique_id=
enable_applications=0
auto_channel_message=0
refresh_rate_milliseconds=1000

Clearly nothing from the usual but disable applications and the channel message.

It does announce to channel when typing /nowplaying foo But i thought it auto announced. Thanks.

Needs to have "auto_channel_message=1" to auto announce (spam) the channel.

But why would you want to disable the "enable_applications"? That is useful if someone that also has the plugin joins the channel while a song is playing, they can select the bot and see the name of the current song in the profile pane.

Please add a Support for Spider Player too.

http://www.spider-player.com

I use the PRO Version of that to hear my Music and it would be great to show it in TS.

If alone it can mute its mic to save outgoing bandwidth, and if someone unmutes or joins the channel it can then unmute the mic.
Ok this has been released for those in beta channel running 3.0.9 client.

Am I the only one having the bot say something in the background. It doesn't do it until I send it a command. Then it continues to do it regardless. I'm not sure which program is doing it. It sounds like it says "Trial" in a female voice. It even does it while music is playing. If I close the client that is running it, and re-open it stops but will start right back up once a command is pushed to it. Ideas?

First of all, I want to thank you for a very wonderful and awesome little plugin. Everyone has enjoyed knowing what they are listening to from my jukebox. However, lately due to Youtube's sticky fingers and changing their site, most of my players have broke for it other than SM Player.

Possibility in getting that added for supported players?
