Installation Issues - Webserver MySQL and SSH won't work after install
OS: Debian 6.0 "Squeeze" x64
I downloaded the server release earlier this evening (v3.0.1 x64), created a new user (ts3), chmodded then ran the start script. The Teamspeak server started, I checked the status and the process had stopped. Checking the log files I could see:
From what I understand that was the server itself killing the process. What would cause that?Code:Received signal SIGTERM, shutting down.
I decided to reboot and after waiting a couple of minutes I went to SSH back in and got a 'Connection Refused' error. I went to check sites hosted on the server and the only ones working where static HTML (not any that are database driven). Luckily I have Webmin installed so I logged in and checked what was happening, I couldn't find anything that had changed to any of the SSH settings (I'm not an expert at all) I quickly checked the /root/.ssh and /etc/ssh to no avail. I also then checked my server settings and noticed that MySQL service was stopped and it wouldn't start.
Has TS3 somehow conflicted with the MySQL server? ...and how could this affect SSH?
I've contacted the server host to see if they can do anything about the SSH, but I wouldn't have a clue where to go with fixing MySQL there's several sites in development on the server which I can't afford to lose.
It's a simple 1.8Ghz Dual-Core server with 2GB that I use for testing sites. Didn't think twice that TS3 would cause an issue.
Anyone help?

then please also check /var/log/syslog and/or /var/log/messages for errors with ssh-daemon.
This may give me a hint to help you.

Exactly the same happen to me too.
Im also using Debian 6 amd64.
Until now i dont know why exactly this is happening, but i think that the teamspeak server was causing such issues.
The first times this happend i thought my virtual server provider had some problems with his network or virtual machines but then i moved the teamspeak server to another server because of the problems.
Then the server (where the teamspeak server was running before) is working perfectly now. No issues, no disconnects, nothing.
But then, 1-2 days later the problems occur on the new server (where i moved the teamspeak server).
apache shows only "forbidden" info website, ssh isnt responding correctly. The strange thing is: logging in to ssh with the root account causes a timeout. Loggin in as another uses gives me a password prompt but only says that my password is wrong.
The virtual server provider (first srv) and the virtual server (second one) i set up by myself are running virtualbox as hypervisor.
The first server uses a amd64 OS and the second one a i686 operation system.
Is this still happening on your server? my server runs perfectly since about 7 days but i dont know how i fixed that or why it is running perfectly now.
oh and sorry for my bad english

Sever crahes but is still running?
Hello guys

I don't really know what I have to search for, because I don't really know how my problem is actually called.
My TeamSpeak3-Server runs on a Debian vServer with a NonProfit-License. Everything worked fine till now. Sometimes the server stops sending/recieving anything. For about 20 seconds all users stay in the channel - but no audio is transmitted. After 10 seconds, the server "crashes" and the Client is disconnected (trying to reconnect). After a couple of minutes, the server is rejoinable without doing anything.
During the not connected time I'm able to connect to my vServer via SSH, and the "ps ax" says the TeamSpeak3 Server is still running (I'm running it with SCREEN).
AND my "Minecraft"-Server is still running too, nobody gets disconnected.
make_core_environments.sh gives me:
Here you can find my core_environment.tar.gz: http://solidfiles.com/d/9c3452db5f/Code:root@**:/home/ftp/teamspeak3# ./make_core_environment.sh core_environment/ core_environment/usr/ core_environment/usr/lib/ core_environment/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 core_environment/lib64/ core_environment/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 core_environment/lib/ core_environment/lib/libm.so.6 core_environment/lib/librt.so.1 core_environment/lib/libc.so.6 core_environment/lib/libdl.so.2 core_environment/lib/libpthread.so.0 core_environment/lib/libgcc_s.so.1
=> The problem is at TeamSpeak3. But I really don't know why and how I should fix that.
Ask if you need more information. Thanks for your help

Please check the entries in the following files:
/var/log/messages
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/auth.log
If there is something within it, please post it here.
I've also using Debian6 x64, and run a teamspeak3-server with MySQL and up to 3servers on the instance. I have not had any problem, that are described here, so there have to be a problem, that has to be identified and fixxed.

Nothing special in the logs. The server just stops logging and everything else stops working too.
I will set up a remote syslog server to catch all the logs. Maybe there is a hdd-write problem.
The strange thing is.. The server itself is running. The tsdns is also still running. Just the virtual server instances are stopped.
