Client 3.0.4 was skipped and was never official released


We hope to fix the crash on connect for some users, but it's still on our todo to solve this problem completely.

We changed, that ServerQuery clients where shown by default, when a bookmark was added.
A server tab now shoes, the custom name of your bookmark.

- Fixed anti-flood message printed in wrong tab
- Fixed chat tab notification markers when switching between multiple servers.
- Newsticker performance improvements.
- Fixed possible crash when clicking toolbar buttons while switching servers.
- When clicking ts3server links with addbookmark=<label>, request adding new
  bookmark if the specified label does not yet exist.

How to get it
(1) Wait until it is released to the stable channel (presumably ~1 week), and use the normal update dialogue.

(2) Tell your TeamSpeak Client to check for updates from the beta channel:
- Go to where you installed teamspeak. There should be (among other things) a executable called "update"
- In this folder create or edit the file called "update.ini", after you are done with it the contents should be:

- Save the file, start TeamSpeak and go to Help->Check for Update, it should report a new version available.

So is it a Client or Server (the Pre) Problem?

Please make sure, that no plugin sends to often!
Screech's older plugin version did spam every second.

Hey!! That was only the pre-release of it that did that and it didn't do that until it was running for 20 minutes.

But, right now server anti-flood is very easy to trip. You can select the server in the channel tree and just hold the down arrow to move through the list to the bottom. Then to up and down a few times.... Now you can't even set away or move.

Uh.. I saw another Setting on the Pub.

"Punkte um Befehle zu blockieren" was setted higher.

It's look like that this was the Problem.

Switching works now directly after connecting. ^^

What's with the Failed to log Changelog - Not working for me since release. This happens when you click the View Changes at the Update dialog.

As of today on the update of the latest beta client the TS overlay stopped working there is no error it just doesn't show up. And another part with the overlay is that since the latest update like the last 2 the overlay color for who is talking does not show its like you can not tell who is talking from the overlay.

Anti flood #1:
We need to find out, why user got the problem on connect.
I guess some actions, causes to many points in our system.

Subscribe all (Glance) give 1/3 of maximum points :-/

This needs more testing, please be patient.

Please create a bugreport, and give us more informations as, it does not work!

Ok I figured out why the Overlay was not loading. I am using Win7 64 Ultimate. When it did the update to 3.0.5 it added both dx_overlay_plugin.dll and dx_overlay_plugin_x64.dll. So when I looked in the plugins I noticed it said the one without the x64 was not loading. I shut it down went in to the plugin folder and deleted the dx_overlay_plugin.dll restarted TS3 and the overlay is working again.

Using ts3server://server.domain.com?password=psw305&nickname=PotaBla va305&addbookmark=Label_305

Case 1: if this link is in the description of a channel or in the chat, right-click does the same as click, it launches the link without offering the usual contextual menu.

Case 2: The link is clicked.

Then, 2a, if the server address doesn't exists in the bookmarks then everything ok: asks for what to do, nothing, only add to bookmarks or add&connect.

But, 2b, if the server already exists in bookmarks, then there isn't any question and goes directly to connect and without adding to bookmarks. The issue is when the server has changed the password: then the link contains the new one and a new label but it happens it connects correctly but without any entry in bookmarks.

Maybe verifing the label isn't in bookmarks would be enough for covering situations 2a&2b and ask what to do: nothing, only add to bookmarks or add&connect.

everything works fine, except for the color ... in version 3.0.2 colors all work ... welcomemessages, adversting ... in Version 3.0.3-5 messages without colors. that is the standard way.

work only [u] [i] [b] \n - color=red - does not work (with brackets, of course) ^^
