Insufficient Permission Modify Power as Server Admin
Hello @ all!

Sorry, if my english isn't so good, but i had bad teachers...
I am from germany and i have a little permission problem.
I had to create a new TeamSpeak 3 Server and so i copied the sqlitedb-file to the new home-directory of my new server. I've also copied the "Non-Profit License" to the home-directory.
But i have two problems...
The first problem is, that the server isn't shown in the "server list"...
And the second one - which is very important - is, that i am one server admin of the server group. I would change some permissions of my client und a group, but TeamSpeak says, that i haven't got the permissions to do that...
For example: I wanna add a permission...
I haven't got any experience with the server query, so if i must work with it: Explain it step-by-step please! Thank you very much!

The TSł-Server is running on a Linux Debian system. (I have "Server Admin" rights and i am the owner/hoster of the server.)
My TSł-Client is running on a Windows 7 system.Last edited by Sebi94; 26-02-2012 at 19:49.

Have you checked this option? The first problem is, that the server isn't shown in the "server list"...
Tools > Edit Virtual Server > Misc (tab) > "Enable reporting to server list"
Take a look in this post: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...t-aid-quot-kitinsufficient permission modify power

1- About server list.
Is greyed but is checked, then is right
Don't forget open this port: weblist port (UDP out): 2010
You need wait some minutes, and remember, that in the general list, there aren't all the servers, only 100 randomly.
If yours doesn't, you should use the filters.
2-Permissions.
What permission you tray to change, when you get this error message?

NO, you don't need forward this port, you must open this port in your firewall in out side
About permissions: Right click on your user name > Permissions > Permissions overview > Export as PDF ... and post here this pdf.file

You can use ServerQuery:
Code:login serveradmin <password> use sid=<server_ID> or use port=<voice_port> servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permid=17310 permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

In the first installation of the server, you get the serveradmin password.
But if you lost it, you can retrieve it, reading this post: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...word-Look-here!
If is your first virtual server and you don't changed anything, sid=1 and port=9987, you can use either.

Hm, according to the *.pdf there seem some permissions and values missing in your groups.
(Me is doing now like master florian did
) - If you want send a pm with the database file or a link to it and me will see to "repair" it.

Ah, okay.
Thanks for your help! I created the whole server new, but i have a permission problem with the grants.
I created a new server group names "Super Server Admin". I want, that this Admin can do all - ignoring bans, passwords, create and delte anything, etc..
And the "normal 'Server Admin'" should can do the same, but a little bit less. That work's...
But i want following: Each server group rank can add a lower member to each group, until his own group.
Example:
~ Ranking
Super Server Admin (75)
Server Admin (70)
Member (50)
Guest (25)
~ Who can ranking who...
Server Admin can add "Guest" and "Member" to the Server-Group "Guest", "Member" and "Server Admin", BUT NOT to the "Super Server Admin"-Group.
The "Super Server Admin" should can add each client, to each Server-Group - also to his own Server-Group (Super Server Admin).
And the deleting out of a server-group should work also so.
Can there somebody help?
