Query IP, Query Port Binding
Hi,
we have set our server to a localhost for query for safety reasons:
machine_id=1
default_voice_port=9987
voice_ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
licensepath=
filetransfer_port=30033
filetransfer_ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
query_port=10011
query_ip=127.0.0.1
query_ip_whitelist=query_ip_whitelist.txt
query_ip_blacklist=query_ip_blacklist.txt
dbplugin=ts3db_mysql
dbpluginparameter=ts3db_mysql.ini
dbsqlpath=sql/
dbsqlcreatepath=create_mysql/
dblogkeepdays=90
logpath=logs
logquerycommands=0
dbclientkeepdays=30
Is it possible to add a second query ip to allow TS-Viewer to query the server or has this to be done via the query-ip whitelist.
Greets,
Dirk

Neither is right. You can't add an secondary query and query_ip_whitelist.txt does not restrict access to your query. query_ip_whitelist.txt just controlls the command flooding detection and disables command flooding ban for the specified IP. If you want to use TS-Viewer you need to configure 0.0.0.0 or your real IP as query_port-IP. You might want to add some firewall settings that block all access to tcp port 10011 if it is not from within you LAN or from the source ip of TS-Viewer.
