Help TS3 Install

I install TS3 on FreeBSD shows error:
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/lib/libiconv.so.3: unsupported file layout

How to fix it?

Hello

Your OS is a 32 or 64 bit version ?
(same question for the Teamspeak server you downloaded)

64 bit .................

On a 64bit Unix System you need to download the 64bit Server.
On a 32bit Unix System you need to download the 32bit Server.

Others will not work and give strange errors when trying to run them. So please make sure the downloaded File matches the System.

I doweload 64bit server files ts3 in FreeBSD and it is the same

I can give you some steps and commands for FreeBSD:

1. Download the server and do not untar it!

wget http://ftp.4players.de/pub/hosted/ts3/releases/3.0.5/teamspeak3-server_freebsd-amd64-3.0.5.tar.gz

You can also move the tar.gz file with WinSCP to your server, but no untar it!

2. Now change to folder and untar it (and assign the users permissions)

tar -xzf teamspeak3-server_freebsd-amd64-3.0.5.tar.gz

3. Change into the server directyory and run the startscript

./ts3server_minimal_runscript.sh
