The "Unknown error" messagebox is generated within the InstallHook.exe itself. Besides that, this application is so trivial that I don't want to believe, that the compiler can generate any SSE2 instructions for that

I'm just building a new version without any speed optimization. It's of course slower than the "normal" version, but it's just a try to see if it helps. Damn hard to fix such things if you don't have the required hardware -.-
You can find the version under http://ts3overlay.r-dev.de/download/...91c.ts3_plugin

wow that actually worked. So some where in there one of the speed optimizations was calling a SSE2 instruction still. Thank You for taking the time to build it if you want to test more with other versions of it to find out what it exactly was just let me know and I will run it on my old battle axe hehe..

Glad that it worked. I'll look what I'll do for future versions: either stick with the non-optimized version, or create two versions and skip to the non-optimized version if I detect error c000001d.
Anyway, I'll disable the optimization for the next few builds. The speed loss shouldn't be _that_ much...

To be honest I really have not seen a difference in speed from the non-optimized to the optimized version. But so far no problems if anything comes up I will let ya know.

Hey Dante you can close this Mark found the problem , there might be some bugs with the compiler it was still adding some SSE2 instructions but the last one he gave me is working..

I to am having problems with TS3 Client / Overlay since the last patch. I have tried to download and reinstall using the newest version, but with no luck, still doesnt work.
What Im working with:
Acer Aspire Laptop..Win7 Home Premium 64-bit (sp1), AMD Athlon II X2 P340 (Dual Core) [2.2 Ghz], ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 (256mb), 4GB DDR3......FSX (sp2)
in FSX, I can see where it tries to start up and it says something about GTA San Andreas.. then "if you have problems, please read the documentation folder". THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION FOLDER!!
I have tried everything that I know of to get it working again, I guess I just have to wait for the next update of either TS3 or Overlay.

Are you talking about the same error above?
