Too many virtual servers - NPO?
Hello,
for hours I am now trying to solve a problem about my license: I have an NPO license, which is valid. But since today, everytime I start my ten virtual servers (Debian Lenny x64) it always tells me "too many virtualservers" and shuts them all down again.
I have also tried using the license for a completely fresh Teamspeak (3) Server, but even with one server it gave me "too many virtualservers".
Does somebody know whats happening? The license is getting "read" correctly, all the information goes through the console.Code:2012-03-30 20:35:11.529455|INFO |VirtualServer | 1| listening on 0.0.0.0:9987 2012-03-30 20:35:11.529692|INFO |CIDRManager | | updated query_ip_whitelist ips: 127.0.0.1, 2012-03-30 20:35:11.530272|INFO |Query | | listening on 0.0.0.0:10011 2012-03-30 20:35:11.689494|ERROR |Accounting | | too many virtualservers running, shutting down! 2012-03-30 20:35:11.761952|INFO |VirtualServer | 1| stopped
Kind regards,
Lexenstar

Have you checked that there isn't any other ts3server running? even [defunct]/zombie?
reboot?
What version of ts3server?
Where is that "server" at? behind single internet IP with other pc's and possibility that your brother is running ts3server too?
(each ts3server is reporting to license server, that is requirement of license, and SW. not sure, but could be reason)
I am shooting in the dark, but this is what I would check first. So yes, if there are any other (non)important details about your setup, share.
(I came across users that considered vital piece of information minor and mentioned it after I found out....)

I have rebootet the system several times, it is running on a virtual server (vserver whatever) and there is no other Teamspeak 3 server on that IP. Besides that I am the only one who got that license.
But you brought me to an idea: Just before this happened I shut the system down w/o turning off the Teamspeak 3 Server, is it possible, that some licenseserver now thinks, that there are two running?
Thanks anyway

No that shouldn't be the case.
There was somewhere mention about 4hours related to license server.
I would try to verify possibility that if you are using sqlite, the contents might got damaged.
Can you check it is really only ten servers in it? Or remove/stop one of them(so 9 will be there), before starting it. Isn't there like 11servers and only 10running?
