Can't join a channel.

It used to work but now Me and about 20 other people that I know of are having problems. We have all tried reinstalling the App the app works great its not perfect but now we can't enter different channels by pressing the channel and click join we have to get some on to drag us in the channel Help Please.

And i do not believe in the number of 20 > User always say many friends got that problem, but its mostly one other user :-/

Please check, that your permissions are ok on that server nad that the latest server version is running on that server.

Sorry to inform you but the number is 20 as in 20 people in this teamspeak we do have over 350 members. We need help of what the problem is. When we are in teamspeak from phone we press the channel we want to enter nothing happens no error anything. Also tried other teamspeaks does the same.

Can you tell me the smartphones and android versions from these phones?

Yes Multiple servers we all have a a variety of phones running 2.3-2.6 mine is Moto Droid Razr Maxx

Same Issue. Tried 5 different teamspeaks. No exaggeration here. I have checked with 7 people and can provide their testimony if that is what is required to get you to look into this problem.
I must express my disappointment that a representative of a product I use so often and enjoy so much would shrug off a bug report from their users and assume they are uninformed and not accurately representing the issue at hand. I came here looking to report this same issue and I find a Teamspeak Team Member misrepresenting his company, abusing his companies customers, and all with poor grammar and unwillingness to help. This speaks greatly as to why this app is flawed in so many ways.

Cannot view members in teamspeak. Cannot switch channels. App crashes often without notice at random times.

I had the same issue, but read the instructions, duuhh, and bingo, works like a charm. Press and hold the channel you want to enter, channel info then pops up, at the top it will say "Join Channel".

Strange i had the same issue but it works now o.O

Maybe you'll have to give the client some time to load data from the server?

Was sitting in default channel while setting up this forum account and now it works.

Edit: Did some testing:

Works fine (instant) on empty server.

Takes a while to work on medium visited server (125 clients)

Get kicked out of ts public due to idle time before i can join any channel (900 clients)

So yeah looks like it depends on the number of clients on the server/server load.

btw i am using wifi with a 100k/bit cable connection on a Sony Ericson Xperia Play (android 2.3.4 )

You cannot do any admin activities (moving Channels) with the Android App since its just not supported atm.
There is a setting for the Subscriptions but unfortunately its an App wide Setting which means it will either always try and subscribe all the Channels on all Servers or it won't.
Keep in mind that activating the Subscribe All Setting will cause considerable Lag or even Crashes on busy / huge Servers with lots of Clients or Channels.

Yes it depends on the amount of Clients / Channels because all those need to be created and displayed.
If you change the settings so it will not try and subscribe to all Channels it should work a bit faster, but it will still need to load and display all the Channels, which means you could run into the same kind of problems when joining a server with shitloads of channels (and yes unbelievable as it sounds - those Servers with 200+ Channels exist).

Back when the App first came out it even crashed on the old Public Server due to all the channels / Clients.

Just one of many problems / shortcomings of the Android App.

I made the download for my tablet of the teamspeak, but i cant switch to others channels and i cant see the people that is on the channels.

I can confirm this as an issue. However its the result of lag. Since maybe server version 3.6 maybe earlier it takes a long time to "sync" on servers with more then about 10 channels on 4g. The result is waiting 5 mins to get full subscription and 10 to swap channels. I am running android 2.3.6 on a Samsung charge. This issue has only existed for about 3months and ive tried it on 4 different servers on 3 different host boxes/networks.
