TS3 Server Group Error
I'm an administrator on a community teamspeak server and recently I've noticed, after messing with some permissions, that I cannot remove anybody from a server group with SA (root SA). I only messed with non-SA groups. I get an "empty result set" error when I try to remove them from the group(s).
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Can you post your permissions overview?
Right click on your name > Permissions > Permissions overview > Export as PDF > .... and post this file, here.

When I try to remove the group, I get the "group is not empty" message because I can't remove them from the group to start.

I do not know if I understood your problem correctly.
You want to delete a user group,or would remove all whole group?
Also seeing your permissions:
You're in the following server groups: Server_Admin - Snake - Emo - Mandrak - SA
As ServerAdmin, with the first one is enough.
Try to remove your self, from the others groups, (right click on your name > Set Server Group > uncheck other boxes)

change (Client =>Needed Client Modify Power) to 0 for the group in question then remove all members from the group. You will then be able to delete the group.

It seems you try to remove whole group, but that within this group there are users, gives this error.
If you really want to do this, in the confirmation dialog, check box: "Delete even if there customers in the group"
But if you want to delete a single user, and not the group, go to the right column.
Click on the user name, with the right mouse button, and choose "Remove".

My problem is that I can not remove the user that way you just said. I've tried that for the past month and it hasn't worked. I can not remove a user from their group because it gives me the empty result error each time. Knowing how to remove them by means of removing the mask is not a problem, the permissions with the masks are conflicting some how and stopping me from removing the mask from them in general. I am not trying to remove a whole group at all, I'm trying to remove one person from one group at a time via permissions > server groups > the server group > right clicking their name and selecting remove.
Edit: After further experimenting it seems I can remove a user from the group if they've been placed into it recently...

That makes it sound like some sort of database issue.

But what is your client and server version ?
Do you have an error message in your server log ?
You have to check if the user you want remove from a group is still present in your database.
(table clients)
Also, you could find several threads about that, using the forum search function
If you are not familar with SQL send me in private your database. I'll check it for you.

LOL, just got this "empty result set" with my database attempting to remove myself from a server group. I can remove others from the server group and put them back. I was attempting to edit a channel I just created but was getting "insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_needed_modify_power)". I looked in the permissions overview for myself and I have 75 from server admin, and the channel has a needed of 75... So I figured I'd remove myself from non SA server groups to see if there is some conflict. I've been running this database since 1/19/2010 with no problems. Though last week for the first time I used the All Clients window to remove really old accounts and accounts that were replaced with newer UIDs after users reinstalled their systems. Maybe the remove client code still has an error in it causing this.
