    No Active Connections

    Hi all,

historic user of TeamSpeak clients on Windows PC, I try to use TeamSpeak 3 (3.0.0-beta) client on an Android MID (DAFURONG-MID, A710 Saycool).

    Installation process succeeds correctly.
But when I launch TeamSpeak3 from the shortcut, the app shows "No Active Connections", clickable, but without effect.

I searched the forum for known compatibility issues, and didn't found this message.
I also verify that the processor of that MID is a ARMv7 (Cortex-A8 1.2Ghz).
OS version was initially Android 2.3.6 (i was unable to install TS3 client on it), and updated with the manufacturer's update to Android 4.0.3 (kernel 3.0.8+ shen@compiler#1), version which I get the message.

The MID is connected to the LAN via its WiFi connection to a Netgear WiFi bridge, itself connected to Internet via Ethernet link to the modem (no particular FW rules).
Somes (Windows) PC's on that LAN uses TeamSpeak3 client without problems.

The MID uses Internet apps without problems (GMail, GoogleEarth, etc).

Anybody has an idea to solve this problem ?
Don't be afraid to ask for precisions if required, i'll try to answer
    Thanks

    Hi all,

    no solutions available ?

I made some tests since my post :

    > The MID is connected to the LAN via its WiFi connection to a Netgear WiFi bridge, itself connected to Internet
    > via Ethernet link to the modem (no particular FW rules).

I also tried with a direct connection to a modem-wifi : same problem.

    > The MID uses Internet apps without problems (GMail, GoogleEarth, etc).
    ... and Skype too.

That Message is just a Status Message telling you that there is no active Connection to any TS3 Server.
You can connect to multiple TS3 Servers with the Android Client just as you can with the PC CLients. All currently active Connections will be shown there.
Just connect to a TS3 Server and it will show the Connection.

It doesn't have anything todo with connectivity to the internet.

    Thank you for your answer.

When TS3 client is launched : "No active connections" is the only button on the interface. Unfortunately, I don't find any way to configure any connection to a TS3 Server : no button, neither a dialog for specifying connections parameters. How can I set connection parameters ?

Another person has the same problem than me on his Archos : here is his screenshot :

I see exactly the same picture than him on my screen ; i don't see any place to set a new connection.

    Press the Bookmarks Button.

In the Android Version there is no means to directly connect to a server without adding it to your bookmarks. So go to Bookmarks, create a new one and then you can connect.

    Thanks for your interest !

Unfortunately, I don't find any Bookmark button.
The Settings menu shows only "Settings", "Help" & "Credits". I see in the Help a screenshot of the New button to create the bookmark, but I don't see any Bookmark nor New button on the interface.

    weird

Holly crêp... thanks for your screenshot :

When the Tablet is set horizontally, there is no button.
When the Tablet is set vertically, buttons appears...

So much shame on me !
I'm now connected to a server, and it works pretty well !

So sorry for loosing your time, thanks for all !

--> Resolved : the tablet must be set vertically to see the Bookmark button

I can see the Buttons regardless of Orientation, but anyway glad your problem got sorted

Would've given you real Shots from my Phone but for some reason the latest Android Update broke the Screenshot Feature :S
