Lightbulb [Suggestion] Auto Updates for plugins and Server

    I have two suggestions:

First The client plug-ins are updated automatically as it does for example firefox.

Second The server version can be updated automatically.

As for Plugin Autoupdates I did create a Thread a couple of Months ago which ultimately turned into a discussion about a possible Plugin Autoupdate Feature, no responses for more than 2 months though.

About Server Autoupdate: A notification about new Updates being available would certainly be nice, not sure how I'd feel about the server shutting itself off and updating automatically though.

It's not forgotten. We have this feature on our TODO list. With all those things on our TODO list, that TODO list is long. :-)
I cannot promise when it's going to happen, but I can assure it's on our radar screen.

    Lightbulb [Suggestion] Autoupgrade-Function for server

    Hello!

Would it be possible to add a new feature to the next server version?

This feature should it allow to upgrade the actually installed server version to a newer version, which is available on your download website. Something like by the client...

But by the server it should only can do one servergroup: The server query!

Each client, which is in this "server query"-group should be able to upgrade the server. Admins, Operators and so on should not have this permission.

I think, that would be a very nice feature for the server owners and administrators, cause they don't have to download, unzip and restart the server... That would the new feature do, if someone of the server query's say: "Yes, do this upgrade to the version X.Y.Z!"

For further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.

    Best Regards,
    Sebi

Well would be very nice but i like as we do now don't be lazy lol. it just take 5 minutes!

I think is not possible cause teamspeak server has many things in use, members and stuff for updating we need to stop the server.
that's why we need to do it manual.
