Restricting Detiled server info???
I have a server that is set up so that "guest" accounts can not see clients connected in other channels... however, the "guest" can still sit in the lobby, click on the main channel or server name (whatever you want to call it), and from here they can see how many clients are connected and what our max connections is. Is there a permission that i can set that would prevent these "guest"s from being able to see this information? If not a permission, is there some other method of hiding the information from certain server groups?
Thanks in advance
John D.

Remove/set the following permissions to -1
Code:b_virtualserver_info_view b_virtualserver_connectioninfo_view b_virtualserver_client_list

Hello
@Pillbox
Little correction, a boolean permission can't be set to -1.
It's 0 or 1 - activate or deactivate
@Lethality
You could deactivate all b_virtualserver_... permission for the guest, but the information on the right side can't be hidden.
Anyway, this is not really sensible information

Btw Folks, permissions "b_virtualserver_info_view", "b_virtualserver_client_list", "b_client_info_view" are Query-Permissions and dont apply
in the client.
@Lethality: As florian said, you cant hide Server Info like connected users. Its no important info, whats the benefit, when me cant see
users in channels, to know if there are i. e. 10 users online or not?

this is on guest server group with granted permissions checked
this is the same search, same server group, but with show granted only turned off...
I do not care, but the owner of the server has been requesting that it be hidden... i do not ask why, i just do what i can to help him... since he knows even less about TS permissions than I do, and i am kind of his default TS admin
Thank you for confirming my suspicions that this could not be done.
~Edit~ Did not see that florian had already answered this issue.... lol silly me. TY.Last edited by florian_fr40; 15-04-2012 at 07:20.
