Failed to Connect to server. Help
whenever i try to connect to a server on teamspeak 3 it says "failed to connect to server." info is right, i have port forwarded, i can ping the server, no firewall enabled, fresh install doesnt work, and i have called my ISP to make sure that there isnt a firewall on their side that is blocking me. dont know what else to do so i came to the forums to hopefully have someone who knows what they are doing help me.
EDIT: i have also tried bypassing my router and plugging my computer straight into the internet, still not able to connect to either the test server or any other ts3 server.Last edited by kcinyam; 15-04-2012 at 17:24.

Have you tried multiple servers? Can others connect to the problem servers? Do you have any anti-virus/firewall software that could be conflicting? Could you post a client log?

it says this stuff but idk what any of it means. also idk how to disable that emote face but it is supposed to be a colon followed by a lower-case letter o

You need to put it in code tags rather than quote tags.
As for your problem; I don't see any errors. It is able to reach the server so I don't think that's your problem. Make sure QoS and DDOS/DOS protection is turned off on your router.

QoS is disabled. as for DDOS/DOS i have no idea how to check if those are enabled or how to turn them off

it'll be a check box somewhere if your router supports it

You could try disabling flow control on your network card. Not sure if that will work or not.

From this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ction-problems
For the last step, instead of selecting enabled, select disabled.Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.* If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Right-click the network adapter, and then click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Flow Control.
Under Value, select Rx and Tx Enabled (in some cases, this might be called Auto or Rx/Tx Pause), and then click OK.

If you mean entering the servers IP instead of its name, I've tried and it doesn't change anything. What is this team viewer you speak of?
