    Event Window logging

I host my own TeamSpeak 3 Server, and I leave a client window logged on all the time on that server machine, as it allows me to keep track of who's been logging on throughout the day, by reviewing the window pane at the bottom of the TeamSpeak client window. However, a couple weeks ago, I noticed that the information is no longer being displayed in that pane (but only on that machine, when I log on with my primary account on my laptop [which is in the same Server Group and Channel Group], all of the appropriate logging information is displayed, such as when other clients log on/off, switch channels, etc.).
If someone types out a text message into the Server chat window, the message shows up correctly in that pane. Being that it's only happening on one of my client machines, and both of my accounts are in the same Server Group and Channel Group, I'm assuming I made some change to the local client settings on that local machine (as opposed to a mistaken permissions change). I have gone through every Options window I can think of, and compared it to my other client machine (laptop), but I can't seem to find the culprit. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello.

    Cases:

    a) You'll get the notifications for the channels you are subscribed. Verify you are subscribed to all channels.

    b) Verify the notifications options:
Settings --> Options --> Notifications --> for the soundpack you had selected in bookmarks
You can indicate the chat tab where you want 'receive' the notification (the textlocation).

    PotaBlava,

Thank you for taking the time to troubleshoot with me.

Unfortunately, I already had both of those options covered.

My "Client on the Server" is already subscribed to all channels (and I have verified that it is actively watching the channels).

And I have verified that it is using the same default notification package as my "primary client" on my laptop, with all the same notification settings, including the "receive" options. I have even tried adding the "Channel" and "Client" options to the "receive" list, in the hopes that it would at least start showing up in the Channel's Chat Tab, but there is no display there either. However, just to reiterate, if someone types a message into the Server Text Chat or the Channel Text Chat, their text will appear for me.

I would again like to thank you for taking the time to troubleshoot with me, and even going the extra step of posting a screen shot. That extra effort is very appreciated.

Any chance you have any other ideas?

One other troubleshooting step that I thought I should mention, is I have tried an uninstall/reinstall of the client software, and this issue persisted through the reinstall. Do you know if there are any support/settings files that persist through an uninstall/reinstall that I can perhaps wipe? Or is that information stored in registry keys?

    Thanks,
    Birrakk

    Hello.

    a) Verify that really the sound pack in use is the desired.
Self --> Sound pack --> On the list the sound pack really in use appears with a 'checked' mark.

    b) If you want 'clear the cache' and you are using client 3.0.5 or later
1-Settings --> Options --> Security --> Select 'Clear cache on exit' and press 'Ok'
    2-Connections --> Quit
    3-Connect again to the server
4-Settings --> Options --> Security --> Unselect 'Clear cache on exit' and press 'Ok' <-- Don't forget uncheck it
    5-Any chance?

    c) If the issue persists, then from the laptop try to connect directly to the channel where the 'monitor user' is. Any notification in the chat tabs in this case?

    Greetings.
