Hello.
Ok. I ask again...
"Only way to get sound back is to reboot" --> That means restart the computer o to close the client?
Once you get the sound back... when you loose it? doing something or only waiting?
Close the client. Open it and
Before connect to any server
Try with:
Settings --> Options --> Playback --> 'Play test sound'
Settings --> Options --> Playback --> select 'Play mono sounds over center speaker when available'
If the issue persists, please, include the client log of this process.
Tools --> Client log
Greetings.

Mermaid
What hardware do you use and what client do you use?
Does client 3.0.5 solve the problem?

All Teamspeak sound disables itself (error origin known)
Hello guys,
I dont know since when I have this problem but I'm sure I hadnt have it before.
Well I experienced the problem that I all incoming sounds from Teamspeak are cut off randomly (talking, the bot voice) while the rest of my PC sounds still worked. I still was able to talk though. At first this seemed randomly too me.
After some troubleshooting I found this out:
I have the G35 - Logitech headset, this headset has a mute button itself, whenever I press this button the whole Teamspeak sound dies but the rest of my sounds - as I said - are still working. I really have no clue why this is happening but its annoying -.- Can you guys please check this?
Also weird: Sometimes when I re-enable the sound via the mute button of the headset, the Teamspeak sound comes back alive but sometimes it just stands off. (Of course the sound should be there the whole time)
Everything is up-to-date!
Thanks!
Edit: Sometimes it works all fine as I know it, wow this is a weird one.Last edited by BetaAlien; 13-05-2012 at 20:39. Reason: Add info

@PotaBlava
With rebooting i meant restarting my PC, sorry if I missed that question earlier. I don't quite understand your other question I'm afraid.
@dante696
3.0.6
@BetaAlien
Yes, why?
I did no change to my PC what so ever, but yesterday I use my TS for about 6 hrs without anything going wrong, so I'm unsure if the problem somehow magically fixed it self. The TS server was updated to latest version, don't know if that might have helped.

No, I just checked... The only way to fix it when it doesnt come back is to unplug - replug my headset.

Mermaid, you do use a G35? Please go into settings > options > playback and now uncheck "play mono sounds.."
It could be, that you can't hear the TS sounds afterwards!
Another quick fix is, to switch from dolby to stereo mode for 1 second, when someone is talkng.
This is a known Logitech bug and it seems that they never will fix this problem.---------------------------------------------------------

The problem did not happen before (i guess its since last TS version but not sure)! So I wont say its a Logitech bug! However it would be nice if this gets fixed somehow, im not that guy that likes workarounds but for now I'll live with it.

Yeah I can confirm it too, had the issue and unchecked "play mono sounds..", and it was fixed, checked it and the problem was there again. Weird that it just so recently started for me tho, I've had the headset and been using ts3 for over a good year now.

Mermaid and BetaAlien,
I moved all your post's into this thread, because this is a known problem. I also have it here with my 2 headsets from logitech.
We fight with this:
This is a bug from Logitech, were Sounds is quiet, when all sounds have the same volume on all speakers. And mono has the same volume on all speakers.---------------------------------------------------------
