TSS Spawning multiple processes ?

I installed TSS 1.2.2 yesterday for a friend on a shell account that I have. Everything installed fine and it all appeared to be working. I have just received an email from my shell hosting saying I'm running 12 processes on my 6 process account and to please correct it. I've logged in and check and there are 8 TSS processes running.

I know there were quite a few people on it yesterday. Should TSS spawn multiple processes ? I'm hoping not, if so can anyone suggest whats causing them to occur ?

There are 6 tss processes when it's idle on my box. I think it adds 1 or 2 more processes for each player that logs in, but I'm not 100% sure.

TSS 2 will avoid spawning lots of processes to deal with process limits like this.

So how many processes is TS2 supposed to have ?
I count 9 after starting.

Depends on what is turned on (webadin- webpost etc)

But with everything on i thinks its something like 6 + (3*servers)

So running 3 servers would have 15 threads)

So TSS2 is no help to Stu who started this topic then :-((

I count 7 processes at idle with nothing fancy enabled. ( but I only tried this for first time today )
