Upgrading from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5
Is there a way to easily upgrade from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5 without loss of server information?
If so, what do I need to do to upgrade the server from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5?Last edited by The Resistance; 25-04-2012 at 01:07. Reason: Resolved

the same as with any Server update:
Shutdown the TS3 Server.
Download the latest Server for your System
Extract the archive.
Overwrite any existing files.
Start the TS3 Server.
If you love to play it safe you can backup the following files inside the Server Directory prior to updating:
ts3server.sqlitedb (All your Servers, Users and Server Config)
licensekey.dat (your License if you have any)
serverkey.dat (your License if you have any)
ts3server_startscript.sh (only if you modified it)

three years as a server admin who's dealt with frequent cascade cluster-server failures taught me to back up often :P
I backed everthing up which helped
Thanks again
