    Teamspeak Permissions

Ok i want to ask for more info andinstructions on how to do this please.

I have searched your forums and read many post regarding this but this is what i want.
I want as in the post below but more

    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...group+to+rooms

none of the above worked for me so what i want is this.
i want to be able to allocate a mulitple Channel group`s to be able to join only certain channels.
ie we have around 40-50 clans within our Teamspeak.

we want every clan to have their own rooms and only be able to join thier rooms and public/open rooms.
So for example clan 1 can only join clan 1 rooms within our ts and all public channels nothing more unless dragged into other rooms by another admin.
so clan 50 is same can only join clan 50 rooms and as above.
Hope this makes sense and hope someone could help me even poss add me to skype and chat me through it or join my test ts to get this working

    Sssskype name kane021

please dont link me to posts nless it is exaclty as i am asking here and i want it so no passworded rooms are needed
    Thnakyou

    1 Channelgroup: Clan Member
Channelgroup has join power of 10, all Clan Channels have needed join power of 10
Assign Clan Member to all Members of Clan 1 in all Channels for Clan 1, same for Clan 2 .. 50 (Members of Clan 2 get Clan Member in Channels for Clan 2 etc.)

Public CHannels have no needed join power of a needed join power >0 < 10 (to prevent guests to join the public channels if you wish)

That should be about it. Of course if you would want Clan Officers / Leaders to have extended Permissions over Clan Members (like kicking members out of their channels) you could create another Channelgroup Clan Leader and give that channelgroup a kick from channel power then assign this group to the clan leader(s) in their channels.

You only need one single Channelgroup for any amount of clans on your Server, thats the beauty of it.

    Lets put up an example:
(where the first number is the Clan and the second is just to distinguish them inside the clan)

    Member5-1
    Member1-52
    Member30-1
    Member5-42

    Now for your Channels:
    Channel1-1
    Channel1-42
    Channel5-44
    Channel5-50
    Channel30-1
    Channel42-5

    Now you'd do the following:
Member5-1 and Member5-42 gets Channelgroup Clan-Member in the following Channels:
    Channel5-50
    Channel5-44

Member1-52 gets Channelgroup Clan-Member in the following Channels:
    Channel1-1
    Channel1-42

Member30-1 gets Channelgroup Clan-Member in the following Channels:
    Channel30-1

    Now as a result:
    Member30-1 can only join Channel30-1
    Member1-52 can only join Channel1-1 and Channel1-42
    Member5-1 and Member5-42 can only join Channel5-50 and Channel5-44

    Noone can join Channel42-5

Of course you'd need to make sure that both Servergroup and Channelgroup Guest have a join power of < 10 in the way I draw it out. Of course you could change the join power to suit your needs.
Because everyone is a mere Guest in all Channels but those related to their Clan they do not fulfill the requirement of having a join power >= 10 for any channel but those where they have the ClanMember Channelgroup.
The ClanMember Channelgroup grants them the join power of 10 but only in those Channels were they have that Group.

    It's really not that difficult...
All the Numbers in the Names of above example are just to show different clans and members / channels belonging to that clan.

Member1-52 for example translates to the following:
    Member1-52 is a Member of Clan 1.

    Channel5-44 is a Channel of Clan 5.

    So member1-52 means member 52 of clan 1 - ie member1-52
And i take it Channel 44 belongs to clan 5 - ie Channel5-44
