Temporary Passwords On Channels

There should be a way to put a temporary password on channels. This would be useful so you can have private rooms and lock them until everyone leaves.

I didn't see how to add a temporary password to a channel. Could you direct me to a place that tells me how to do this?

Temporary passwords are just for Server, not for Channels.

Why not to use the avaible temporary channel with password: once everyone leaves it, the channel dissapears. Cleaner and simpler than having a permanent channel with temporary password. Just an opinion.

I just thought it would be easier to have a permanent channel so any member with permission can set a temporary password. Otherwise an admin would have to create a channel each time someone wants to have a channel. Just an idea.

I would just find it easier to keep a set number of channels. I don't want everyone to be able to create channels even if only temporary on the server. I find it would be easier to set it so the first person to join the channel can set a password and the password is removed when everyone leaves.

I understand, that admins, want to allow, that users that do not belong into a server, should be invited.
But a temporary password for channels is an overkill in my opinion.
Better use channel groups for this.

What about a permission that allows admins to set it so people can only create sub-channels under certain channels?

Already possible, set permission "b_channel_create_child" on those channels where sub-channels should be allowed.
