Server Name Not Listed On Server List
I have installed both the TeamSpeak client and the server software correctly, I believe. I am able to sign in via the client and connect to my named server with no problem. Using information found in these FAQ's I believe I have my router correctly set for port forwarding.
Under the Gaming and Application tab in my router I have entered;
TS9987 9987 9987 Both 192.168.0.140 Enabled
TS10011 10011 10011 Both 192.168.0.140 Enabled
TS30033 30033 30033 Both 192.168.0.140 Enabled
Of interest is the fact that when I connect to a couple of the TeamSpeak )I( servers I am shown there, but only on a couple of them. It sure seems to me that my server name should be listed on the server list so other folks can enter a conversation but it is not.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

- Port 2010 UDP outgoing needs to be opened for the weblist reporting.
- Please check your settings for your virtual server
"Right-click on the server > Edit Virtual Server > Press on "More" > Misc > check "Enable reporting to server list"
- Please a custom server name---------------------------------------------------------
Please don't send me private messages with support questions as long I or someone else from Teamspeak Staff asked for it.

Thanks for the info. However, I still can't get the problem solved. "Enable reporting to server list" is checked. I don't understand what you mean by "Please a custom server name". Finally, how do I open Port 2010. Is that done on the single port forwarding tab in my router? If so, please provide the full setting information.
Thanks

On my router software under single port forwarding I have entered the folowing in addition to what I stated in my first post.

My server name still is not listed.
Thanks

Thanks for the help. Looks like I have it. Now, if I can just get other folks to set up the software and ports correctly we should be able to communicate.
Thanks again.

If you make a link like the following for them it should be pretty stupid proof.
Code:ts3server://ip:port

I thought I was quite computer literate but this thing has got me stumped. My brother and I have both set up servers and they both show up on the server list. However, when I am connected to my server through the client software and my brother goes to the server list and clicks on my server he can not connect. The same is true when I try to connect to his server. Still must have something set wrong.
Thanks

Most likely both of you have set up their respective servers on your local PCs.
Now when you try to connect to the other's Server through the Weblist, you are trying to connect to your WAN IP from inside your LAN which many routers do not like.
For you to connect to your or your brothers server you need to use the local IP since you are already in the lan.
