Hello.
Something wrong with the memory usage in your client...
http://forum.teamspeak.com/attachmen...4&d=1336877744
it increases and increases... (starts with 105MiB and "ends" with 121MiB)
and it's really higher (105MiB) than mine (42MiB)...
Maybe on monday you can get an answer to your issue.Code:13/05/2012 9:54:22 ClientUI Info Connect status: Connected 13/05/2012 9:54:22 ClientUI Info Connect status: Establishing connection 13/05/2012 9:54:22 ClientUI Info Connect status: Connection established 13/05/2012 9:54:32 Info deleting 02A7D7F0 13/05/2012 10:09:12 Info Memory usage: 41.88 MiB 13/05/2012 10:24:12 Info Memory usage: 43.58 MiB 13/05/2012 10:39:12 Info Memory usage: 42.08 MiB 13/05/2012 10:54:12 Info Memory usage: 35.16 MiB 13/05/2012 11:09:12 Info Memory usage: 37.50 MiB
By the way, have you try deactivating all the plugins?.

PotaBlava What you are saying here has nothing to do with the log entrys.
This is build in, because user complain about a memory leak. My Memory raises up to 200mb, on the public server, whe nall channels are subscribed for a while.
Dayoopers The log file is ok. I can not see any error with the sound system. could it be, that another application was started , when the crash happened? Maybe the controlelr is broken :-/
Does client 3.0.5 solve the problem?

as far as i know nothing else is activating. TS3 will crash with or without games playing and kill all sound ... I've had this issue ever since TS3 came out, Beta included.
So the issue kept happening through all the different versions of Teamspeak 3.
And 3.0.5 didn't help , still causes same issues.
I've read before that TS3 has an issue with Realtek audio cards. I guess I'll have to go out and buy a new audio card for my computer and change off the onboard realtek.

If it kills all your audio (for every program), there is at least a driver issue.
That being said, i notice that you use Windows Audio Sessions for capture and Direct sound for Playback. I know from personal experience that some drivers have a problem with this. Please set the playback mode to default/windows audio sessions, and report back if that solves your problem

yah i tried that ... still doesn't seem to fix the issue. I've ran Ventrillo for 4 days without an issue. It only happens with TS3 ... didn't happen with TS2.
I've been trying everything in the book to get it to work. I also replaced the audio card with a soundblaster HD card and it still kills my sound.... so in otherwords i just spent $50 for nothing.
Wish TS dev's would help out. I think it's a known issue but hasn't been worked on due to small amount of people that have this problem.

We'd love to fix this, but currently it is not known why this happens for you. It is valuable information that this seems to happen for you even when you switched your soundcard.
Can you give me a link to that information? I'd like to see what his idea isHowever on another site I saw someone say that TS3 is trying to override my audio card (Realtek onboard) and that the conflict is killing my sound all together. The guy says it's TS3 and not my computer that is causing the issue.

Same error is happening with me. TS crashed all my sound except the game I was playing, so I restarted computer, reconnected, and it killed the sound again. It causes anything else that uses sound to either lock up or crash completely.
It's unbelievable that this is a problem. How has this not been fixed? This never occurred with old TS versions.

Are you guys using direct sound? If so, the problem might be fixed in the next release.
For the current version, you can try the following:
1. if you are on windows vista/7, use windows sound api for sound mode
2. if you are on windows xp, try configuring your sound to use 2 channels instead of surround sound

Dayoopers, this sounds extreme but you may need to flash your BIOS. I had a similar problem and it immediately resolved my issue (EVGA P55 motherboard). There was some conflict with the Realtek chipset that was resolved through the update.
If you've never done a BIOS update then I would suggest doing some research and checking your motherboard manufacturer's website/forums. You can easily foobar your computer if not done properly.
