    It looks like there is another server instance running already. Please chek that first.

    These log entrys show, that a server is already running.
    2012-05-08 08:07:00.268223|ERROR |FileManager | | bind() failed: 98
    2012-05-08 08:07:00.268308|ERROR |FileManager | | bind failed on 0.0.0.0:30033
    2012-05-08 08:07:00.328271|ERROR |Query | | bind failed on 0.0.0.0:10011

    And please do not use any ports under the lower than port 1025!!! They are system reserved.

    You could run ps -aux and check if another process is running.
    And please check the ports, that are used with netstat

    Maybe this is a virtua lserver and the port and ip is used by another machine in your system?

    he silentstorm

    thank you for all the help I appreciate it

    if you want to improve do not do it on a forum where people ask for help

    only for silentstorm
    no i lookt with netstat and no double ports or any weird things
    -------------merged-------------
    for dante this is my own physical server so no it is not a virtual server

    Ok, can you try this?
    Please use the server.ini and bind the ip's for that server instance.
    Maybe the server could not recognize the IP automatically and trys to bind the port, to an IP, that does not exist.

    I still wonder, why it shows port 98<<<<
