The Android beta client isn't working for me, when can i expect to see an update?

We recognize the following existing problems,

- The Android client is not available for certain devices http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...-my-device-Why
- We have not released any updates to the Android client in many months
- The Android client does not work well (or at all) on the latest Android OS (IceCreamSandwich)
- The current Android client is in general not as mature as its iOS client counterpart

So what's being done about it?

We have decided to take a new approach with the Android client. Consequently, we have hired a new development team to redesign the Android client from the ground up.

We are looking forward to releasing a completely redesigned Android client which, based on a new development framework, will allow us to add additional features, provide improved stability, and overall enhance the end user experience.

Please stay tuned to this forum and our website for updates. We will keep everyone informed of progress as we hit major milestones.
