Solved I added permissions, but Grant is not set

    Hello,

being a numpty like i am, i removed some permissions from the server admin.

i have run the following after logging into the console with telnet and logging in as severadmin
    Code:
    servergroupdelperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_info_view

    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_info_view permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

    servergroupdelperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_channel_list

    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_channel_list permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

    servergroupdelperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_client_list

    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=b_virtualserver_client_list permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0
but the permissions window in ts still showing the grant value at 0 and not 75.

ive double checked the server group id is 6.

any ideas what im doing wrong?

i suppose i should also ask what the Grant column actually means too?

anyway, i would greatly appreciate any help.

    Thanks,
    Mark

because you did only give the Permission itself, not the grant value.

to do that replace the first underscore with the following: _needed_modify_power_
Additionally if the first letter is b replace it with i.

The Grant Value (for most permissions) is how high the group having the Grant Permission can assign this Permission to another group.
    Example:
ServerAdmin has grant power of 50 for i_channel_delete_power.
They can now change the i_channel_delete_power of any other group they may edit up to 50 but no higher.

If the Serveradmin does not have a grant value for a particular permission they cannot change that permission in any group.

Hope this makes it somewhat clear
