some Clients can not connect to my server

Hy there,

I have a huge problem with my TS3 server, recent some of my friends can't connect to the server but until now they could.

<17:52:58>Trying to connect to server on ts.pvpformula.com
<17:53:04>Failed to connect to server

When they try to connect to another TS3 server it works, they don't use a router. I mention that the TS3 server is hosted in Netherland and my friends are trying to connect from Romania.
What should I do ?

Have them try to connect to your IP.

Same problem with the Ip connection

Has anything changed recently that may have caused this? Have you talked to your ISP about it?

I didn't change anything. Today I restarted the server, I thought maybe I'll resolve the problem but..nothing. Another solution?

Can anyone outside your network connect at all? Have you verified that WAN/LAN IPs have not changed?

I've tried to connect and i've entered to the server without problems.

1) Can your users with problems get answer when they do 'ping ts.pvpformula.com'?
2) Can they access to the web page www.pvpformula.com?
In both, the base name (pvpformula.com) but the address are different. The most probable they can reach the web page but don't get answer from ping ts.pvpformula.com

One of my friends had reinstall the TS 3 client and he can connect again..strange. Recently another friend couldn't connect to the server after 5 minutes he connected, how? didn't know. Strange..the TS 3 server is installed properly (license free non-profit)

1) I had tried that before posting here. One of them didn't have an reponse soo the ISP was the problem, but the other guys had the ping and still can't connect.
2) Yes, the page is accesible for everyone even for them, soo no problem on the DNS side.

I've tried to connect again and no problem. And the server appears in the server list. I would discard the server. The issues must be in user side, that not neccesary means the TS3 client.

Cases:

a) Can't connect and doesn't get ping from the ip server --> Probably something related with the ISP

b) Can't connect, reinstalls and connect --> Maybe something with the antivirus

c) Connect and after 5 minutes can't connect --> if not case a) then maybe something with the firewall (in the PC or in the router)

Users that can't connect to this server would try to connect to other one. If the issue persits, then almost sure is user side (security software in the PC or some security option in the router)

Note: users that don't get ping from the server address better could try IPCONFING /FLUSHDNS before contact the ISP. More details in this post: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...520#post316520
