How to add a new game/app to the appscanner addon?

Hi Guys,

i would like to add some apps on my own to the Appscanner Addon in TeamSpeak 3, but i don't know what i doing wrong


Could someone tell me what i must change to add games/apps on my own? I tryed to add a game on:

...TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins\appscanner_plugin\apps.ini

[Stronghold Kingdoms]binary_windows=StrongholdKingdoms.execategory=2

but it won't work

You have to use an editor capable of reading/writing/displaying Unix Line Endings (like Wordpad, Visual Studio, Notepad++) and change your Entry to have each entry on a new line.

But it is normal that i cant add a new category like "Games"?

Games Category already exists.
And also I can add Categories just fine by just editing / adding to the Top of the File, just make sure no keep the format (ie. no spaces around the = Symbol). In order for the Category to be displayed however it needs at least one Application assigned to it.
