After Downloading... TS wont open
The other day I went to get on TS.. and hook to my friends TS server ...and it called for an update.. so I did..
and then what happens...
I see that I have a TS icon in my task tray... but the application wont open and even by doing a double click nothing happens.. it wont open... I right click to get menus... nothing comes up..other than when I run over the icon with the pointer.. it says TS Client...
So I pull up control/alt/delete.. to stop it as a process... guess what... I cant even stop it from there!
What is going on... its like its hanging there ..and there is no way to access it or end it as a process... I have to crash the computer ( unplug it ) ..... to end it..
so I delete it and all the folders associated with it... restart the PC... and try redownloading it..
and it does the same thing!
I need help!

So does anybody have any suggestions??? or can direct me to a thread where I can get help with this?

Can you show us the last log fie from your client?
The logs are saved in your TS3Client (the settings folder not the installation folder).
Press Windowos + R > now enter %appdata%\TS3Client\logs > click ok
Now select the last file and upload or paste the content.---------------------------------------------------------

Can you deliever more details about your operation system?
We guess you use windows xp and the client before the update was version 3.0.6?
You can get older versions here, but we are interested to fix your problem.

Yes I am running Windows XP -Media Center Edition. and 3.0.6 was the previous version..

What plugins are enabled? You could check this with client 3.0.7 or 3.0.6.
And can you try this please?
- Disbale all plugins in your older client. Then update to 3.0.8
- Rename the plugin folder and start the latest client.---------------------------------------------------------
