TS3 Constant Crashing
Hi,
I installed TS3 client, it installed fine but when i try to run the client it crashes & i get a box with a message saying...
"The Teamspeak 3 client has crashed. There is a debug file that the developers can use to help fix the problem.
Please upload the file to the Teamspeak forums."
Im running WinXP x32, TS2 works perfect on this machine.

Thanks but this didn't work, i thought i had at first as the client loaded, then a beta download box popped up & downloaded
something, then the program closed, i then tried to load TS3 & voila error again
Really annoyed with this, a simple piece of software failing to run on the most common OS in the world grr!

you mean that antiquated OS which has been superseded by 2 Generations by now (and soon 3 Generations).
In any case: Disable all Plugins (most notably overlay and volume control).

I really don't think my choice in OS on this particular machine is of any relevance nor is of any help to be quite honest

If your counting Vista in that '2 generations' statement, then that's a joke, win7 is a great OS & i have 7 x64 on all my
other machines, windows eight is only worth a look at if you use a tablet at this point...So really only 1 successful generation
& not 2-3, the point is windows xp is still the most used OS out there at present, whether you like that OS or not, mocking my
choice of OS on this particular system is not helping me nor anyone else anyone it only serves to satisfy your urge to troll &
belittle other users looking for a little HELP
Moving on... I don't have any plugins installed (using on-board sound on this machine)
I don't even need to use the client on this machine as im using it as a server, I have only installed TS3 client to access the
server to set it up (as according to the FAQ/help page).
I must say i would prefer a http page or alike to do this like TS2 server, is there another way to set the server up?
Im currently using this machine as a 1000 player TS2 server perfectly fine on a 100mb fibre connection, TS2 client
works on it perfectly fine too!
Thanks

I didn't troll and XP is not the most common OS out there, well maybe if you count those Embedded Editions running on Industry Touchscreen PCs in and the generally slow moving Industry when it comes to updates. In any case this is not the place to discuss this so I'll just ignore the rest of your statement.
There are Admin Tools available in the Addons Section (click Downloads -> Addons -> Tools -> Administration). There are also a few WebInterfaces available if you really want to use them...

This crahs appears in our hotkey system. It has nothing to do with any plugin.
We plan to release a new beta cliet 3.0.7 today.
You can activate this beta channel for client 3.0.7 beta (explained in my thread)
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...3-Client-3-0-7
It would be nice, to recieve some feedback about the crash after client 3.0.7Last edited by dante696; 12-06-2012 at 12:22.
