[Whisper] Special Chars not working with Whispers anymore
Hi TS3 Team,
I'm sorry for my bad english.
My Hotkeys in the Whisperlist didn't work, since the last Beta-Update. I tried to delete the linked Hotkeys, but i cannot add these to the List again. I receive the Grey box to add a hotkey. But that ignores the Chars which i type in. The Chars which I mean are: ä and ü.
Edit: I try this with the Char "ö" and this works fine. I have check the Keyboard Language and it's still Germany. If you need more information. Please send me an E-Mail or PM.
Can you please fix this, because that's very important for me.

You could try to use a different Detection Method in Settings -> Options -> Hotkeys -> Dropdown at bottom right. Choose something else there, hit Ok and try again.

I guess you can not set such an hotkey as Push-to-Talk

We have fixed a bug with umlauts in our second beta release.
Please make sure that your client is version 3.0.7 (12.06.2012 15:34:01
- What keyboard do oyu use and is a driver for this keyboard installed or is it the default driver from your operation system?
- Whats your operation system?
- What hotkey mode is enabled and what does your client log say, when you just start the client, without beeing connected to any server?
Here are some examples, how it could look like.
Code:14.06.2012 10:18:10 Input Info Direct Input monitoring enabled 14.06.2012 10:19:17 Input Info Default monitoring enabled 14.06.2012 10:19:41 Input Info Keyboard & mouse monitoring enabled

Does this work, when you Hotkey mode "Default" or ""Windows & Mouse only" under Settings > Options > Hotkeys?
I can't imagine, that umlauts don't work with the latest beta release.---------------------------------------------------------

Can you upload your hotkey.ini as a zip container?
Maybe developer can read something about that file.
There 2 ways to find the file on your computer (hotkey.ini). It depends, where your config files are stored.
- Press your Windows Key + R > Enter %appdata%\TS3Client into the field > Now copy the hotkey.ini
- Go into yor programs folder > C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config > Now copy the hotkey.ini---------------------------------------------------------

see attachment. If you need more information, please ask me.
edit: Okay I think i have found the Problem. The Hotkey's was appointed to "Direct Input". I changed this to "Keyboard and Mouse" and it works.Last edited by Manta-kun; 15-06-2012 at 14:03.
